AUV3 NEEDED
This is still a great app, but can you please make it AUV3 compatible? This would be absolutely insane inside of AUM.
Ableton Link
One of the very best, now with Ableton Link! Thank you! 🙏
MIDI source
I use this (or Troublemaker) for MIDI Input in AudioBus3. The randomly morphing patterns is a useful feature.
Useful
I like it for working out ideas.
Great app !!
Very cool 👍🏻
Great generative sequencer and decent synth
This is the best multi-track midi sequencer with generative capabilities that can work on an iPhone. And the internal synth engine is quite nice too. Very nice!
A Sequencer for Artists
A gorgeous reimagining a piano roll sequencer. Immediately gratifying and very deep as well. Endlessly inspiring.
Unique!
Always a good addition to your synth library. If you need a step sequenced, try experimenting with this and make a beat. Hopefully it can add more steps to be a song sequencer.
19 steps
Could be good for loops if you could get the steps past 19. Not even with a stylus. Hard to even get it back to 16. Change it to a slider. Not sure why there should be odd numbers anyway. Fun to play with you don’t try to adjust anything. Lowered to 2 stars because the manual I finally found is no help. Edit: found that if you go into settings and change Knobs to linear you can get all 32 steps. Raised stars to 4, but now the tempo is 119.8 and I can’t get it to 120.
Please add auv3 support
Super intuitive and elegant grid sequencer with game of life type randomization available - quickly make generative music that sounds good, with an evolving interactive visual component. One of my most used apps for generative music. Devs, please add Auv3 support!
Great! Add AUv3!
Immediately gratifying; would be 10x more useful with AUv3.
Best step sequencer
Easy to use, stable, fast to program; use it to control your other iPad synths and drum machines. Visually, you can be looking at up to four different MIDI outputs simultaneously on one screen interface, which can be very helpful: bass, drums, keys x 2 for example. Also good for real-time tweaking of sequences on the fly. 32-steps, you can choose seq. length, so odd time signatures like 9/8 are no problem, which is a BIG plus. Internal synth is actually pretty good too. Velocity programming is a
An update, yes 🙏🏻
Just opened this app a few days ago after not using it for over a year. Forgot how crazy good and inspiring it is. Then today, saw an update.
Hope for one day seeing it as auv3, but even without, it’s still a top app. Thanks for keeping it going dev.
Octave range?
For some reason you can’t move up/down octaves without transposing the entire song, which is a really odd, unintuitive, and creatively stifling design decision that I can’t get past.
It’s a shame because there are some interesting features.
Excellent
I can’t stop exploring all the great features of this app. Every time I wonder if a particular feature might be implemented, I find that it not only there, but it exceeds my expectations. I liked the app so much that I purchased the other two apps by this developer.
This is a bug not a feature
Lovely and fun sequencer and synth but one glaring issue: fine tune won’t work when you land on a incremental BPM for example 73.3. If you have ever shared files between devices or friends you know the problems a decimal can bring. This is when you need fine tuning! Unfortunately fine tuning control only changes the number before the decimal. Maybe the dev needs to Google what fine tuning means? Idk I hate anything that is not exact BPM. No more wishy washy in between beat counts please
