I was quite disappointed in the other online news sources. When I stumbled onto Yahoo I found a source for the news I wanted to read and not the maddening maelstrom that is just distractions and “eye-noise” scrolling around pretend sources

The articles are sprinkled with many ads, most with overly sensitive activators and many with the old “mouse trap” features. Reading an article becomes a marathon.

I used to get my news from google discovery, but the recent update turned over half of the posts into X posts that could not be blocked. Yahoo news is really great so far!

While I can actually read a post on this app compared to SmartNews the ads are pathetic. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from the totally misleading ads (and they are labeled ads) that are all over the threads (and I have). The latest one is a cold weather hat, the same ad has three different companies list it as their product. A picture of what appears to be a female making the hat but all these hats are made in China and nowhere is that listed. You have to research the parent company. An

I keep getting an error message when clicking on Yahoo stories through Google feed. Error message: “…encountered an error when signing you in” and does not allow me to read the Yahoo article

Great excellent reporting!

After having loading issues with the Smart News app which I have used for years now, I deleted that and got this. I love the eady layou, the customizable news feed especially that I can receive local news coverage, and that the categories that interest me most can be expandd. E.G. I lov politics so there is a "see more politics" option which allows me to see more in-depth articles. I lke this app and probably will never return to Smart News.
