26 Positive User Reviews for Yesterday For Old Reddit

Don’t hesitate, buy it now!!

I’ve been using the web version of Reddit ever since the app fiasco, but it’s been a pain having to switch to old Reddit manually when a web search takes me there. I found this while looking for something like old Reddit redirect for mobile. Was initially disappointed to have to pay for something so simple, but once I gave in and did I realized that this is so so so much more than just a redirect, making the mobile experience significantly better by rearranging and resizing elements to actually

Game Changer!

Yesterday For Old Reddit is a game-changer! As a long-time Reddit user (over 16 years), I was frustrated by the api changes and the new web experience. This app brings back the classic Reddit layout and functionality, making it easy to navigate and enjoy my favorite subreddits again. Highly recommended for anyone who misses the old Reddit. The features and functionality of this app have been very thoughtful you can tell the developer of the app is also a Reddit user. Thank you for making somethi

Makes Old Reddit Usable on Mobile

This extension is exactly what I have been looking for when browsing Old Reddit on mobile through Safari. The old layout can be tricky to navigate on smaller screens, but Yesterday for Old Reddit makes it smooth and functional. If you prefer the classic layout and want a better mobile experience, this is a must-have! The dev is also responsive and swift to implementing suggestions. All around great experience so far.

Old reddit shines in safari with this extension

With the loss of Apollo I did quit Reddit for a long time but it has a lot of useful information for nearly any subject. This extension makes Reddit useable reducing the modern UIs attempts to make the website inaccessible via mobile browsers.

Successor to RES for Old Reddit

I’m so used to having Reddit Enhancement Suite for Old Reddit that not having it made browsing Reddit on Safari unbearable. This extension covers the majority of functions I was sorely missing and I barely miss not having RES; good dark mode, expand inline, colored comment level, gallery view, back to top button, and auto-mod collapse to name a few of my essentials it covered. Totally worth the few bucks spent and appreciate its focus on “Old” Reddit. I look forward to future development

Worth every penny

Wasn’t sure about spending money on this but I consider it to be essential now. Great app.

Top quality extension, highly recommend

I've been using Yesterday ever since Reddit changed their API. Recently, there was an update that affected how I used the extension. I went to the subreddit and left a comment to the developer. Within 48 hours of my comment, the developer responded, stating that he had fixed the issue and that I would be able to use the extension the way I had previously. Very positively surprised.

Great app

Love that old Reddit look! It'd be awesome to save favorite subreddits for easy access, kinda like bookmarks.

Fantastic for phone & helpful on Mac

I really, really wish I had decided to buy this sooner. I can’t imagine going back to old.reddit without this on my phone, and it’s nice on Mac as well! Recommended

One of best reddit app’s I’ve ever used

Easy to use, easy to navigate, active developers who help resolve bug reports!! There’s nothing more I could want from a Reddit app!!!

Get it

Idk man, just get it.

Best thing I’ve used for reddit on mobile

Overall very good! Especially since reddit stoped 3rd party apps, this is the best alternative. My only hang-up is that loading any new reddit page hangs for a few seconds every time (counted ~5 seconds on my iphone 13 pro). I would love to know the reason and what can be done about it. This has always been the case for me for the year+ I’ve used this extension. I even tried disabling all other extensions to make sure. I would also like to make a feature request to add a “show images” button

Beautiful App

Thank you devs for this app.. it reminds me of rif for android and alien blue.. I love old Reddit always have.. I can fly through comments so fast. Thanks again!

Amazing extension and even more amazing developer

The easiest way to browse Reddit in safari. The developer is also extremely responsive if you have questions or suggestions.

Quality of life improvements

Many QOL fixes here for mobile browsing. Please implement a true black “night” mode for OLED devices.

Perfection

This extension is a must-have if you loved Apollo and have been searching for the cleanest Reddit browsing experience. Well done!

Better than expected

Was using privacy redirect and kept getting “old hat” image issues. Instead of spending time trying to fix it (and likely not getting it knowing me), I spent $3 for this upgrade. Better than expected due to the built in quality of life improvements: zoomed in at the perfect level, skip and forward options, ad removal. Simpler and better than having a dedicated Reddit app for a casual user like myself. Would certainly recommend if you’re looking to use old Reddit through Safari.

A+

Absolutely essential with Apollo gone. Makes Reddit so much more usable.

Just perfect

Does everything I wanted and a bunch I didn't even know I wanted to improve the old Reddit site on mobile. Dark theme, moblie friendly aspect ratio, easier to see comment levels. And a bunch of settings to get it exactly the way you want it. Just perfect. Thanks so much!

Works for now

Sometimes you wonder to yourself “why someone doesn’t do something eg create a way to format old Reddit to be readable on mobile?” Then you find out it exists! Nice job. The quality of Reddit will not be improved by this app unfortunately, and I question how long they allow old.Reddit to exist, but for a one time fee this is just what I needed for however long we have left.

Old Reddit layout with dark mode and more

I like the old Reddit layout, but I also wanted dark mode support. This extension provided that and much more. - Converts URLs that don't include the 'old' prefix to the old layout. - Makes navigating comments really easy. - offers some nice mobile options All that and a very responsive dev. I loved it on my iPad, but had an issue on my Mac. Sent the dev and received a reply same-day, including troubleshooting steps which straightened out the problem. Great experience!

Perfect. Any improvements would only be extra love on top.

Absolutely one of my favorite Safari utilities. Apple makes getting to its Setting page unnecessarily laborious, but once you’ve set it up the way you like, you’ll have tons of quality of life improvement on mobile. I would love even more options like hiding votes to reclaim horizontal space, but that would just be extra gravy. Worth it. Go get it. Thank you, creator!

Great extension went missing with update to 17.4

This extension rocks. Somehow it disappeared from my device when I upgraded to iOS 17.4 and I had to go back to my purchase history to remember the name of it and redownload it.

Thanks!

I’m a casual Reddit reader these days and I hate the official Reddit app. Your nifty browser extension makes it a joy to read Reddit once again! Keep up the awesome work, ani I look forward to seeing more apps from you. One Happy Customer

Responsive dev

Good app with a responsive dev. A little overpriced but thankfully not a subscription.

Amazing extension!

Works perfectly and makes the experience of using the web version of reddit much better
