Hey yikyak people All my yak karma disappeared I have gone from being high ranking In two communities to having no karma at all can you fix this? Emilio

I go to a community college, and I live in an area where a major college is and I want to connect with the people around me. They took away the “around me” posts and it’s taking away the only reason I used Yik yak in the first place. To make friends in my area. The update is horrible.

I love Yikyak. It’s very fun. But All my spaceships are gone and I can no get find the button to place a spaceship. I would really like some help because I can’t find anything about that online

No one even uses it

I like it. Twitter but only nearby. Pretty cool

It is very reminiscent of twitter, and it’s really fun. Sometimes people can be mean but you can just downvote or report them.

i’d love this app if it were actually populated- nobody’s using it so it’s always dead and therefore boring. please put some money into making tiktok or instagram ads so you can get this thing off it’s feet !!

I enjoy this app but there are still glitches that have never been fixed while the app has received MANY appearance changes over the years. Many times I have to force close the app to refresh for latest yaks and notifications. Sometimes the notifications never even show and I have to force close the app multiple times. These are things that need to be fixed.

YikYak allows for freedom of expression and is a TREASURE to be cherished!

Fun app, but keeps redirecting me to my browser and an unrelated random website upon opening of the app. Talked to some others and they have the same problem. It’s weird and feels unsettlingly like the kind of redirects that try to put a virus on my phone If it keeps happening I’ll probably uninstall the app till YikYak stops this and gives an explanation, I don’t know if the app is being hacked or what but it’s unsettling

1. I lost my virginity becase of this app 2. It glitches a lot

Really enjoyable app but the dms seem to have lots of problems with bugs

It’s pretty good, notification system needs to be a bit better and I’d love it if there was a Dm system

I think Yik yak should introduce a cold section to show off yaks that we’re absolutely decimated by downvotes

Honestly making private messaging on your app would be awesome. Some people want to use this to meet new anonymous people. That would be great.

There should be a reply button that pulls up the @ symbol and whatever the person’s emoji is.

Causes a lot of problems

I just updated the app and once I click it to open it, it’ll glitch and it won’t open.

it's twitter + reddit + your local community, without faces. sometimes you get funny, intriguing, insightful, thought provoking, or supportive posts. sometimes you make friends. sometimes you get inflammatory, mean, dramatic or discriminatory posts. sometimes it's barely active, weird, boring, or spam.

YikYak is dope… when convos get long say 100+ comments, you have to scroll all the way up to refresh and then all the way back down. Please add refresh button possibly above send button. This way people can chat in real time quicker and send more messages out. The momentum is killed with the constant scrolling… thanks! Lmk if this helps!

I miss the voluntary handles. The latest update always shows 0 responses whether there are responses or not

I can’t access the top tab bc my camera blocks it. I would also like to change locations but I can’t figure out how to do that. Cool concept otherwise.

I like that you can post locally and anonymously, and both factors are great. My one issue is more of a bug or tech fix, though. Every time I close out of the app, my Yakarma completely resets to 100. That's it, though :)

Would give 5 stars but the summer spaceship glitched and deleted a saved location that I cannot get back because it is halfway across the country. Wish there was a way to restore previously saved locations, would make things a lot easier.

This lowkey reminds me of the old app Geeking. Just add some chat featuresn it’d probably be a perfect replacement

Not that I have to hide behind anonymity, but this app just feels good to me.

this app is hilarious, especially in a college town. however the app just does not fit my phone screen. i have an iphone 12 for reference.

My only issue is i wish you guys would let us see what Yaks got taken down by the herd like instagram!

It’s definitely a fun thing. My school uses it and it’s fun to see what people post and stuff. I like the fact your Anonymous too. So quiet people like me can upvote things and ask the students things without worrying. love this app

Honestly I like this app, it’s really fun but it should definitely add some private messaging that would be cool.

Let android users download the app!!! I want my android using friends to be able to use the app as well.

You should make it to where you can drag the pin on the map to change your location, keep the 5 mile radius.

The pop up ads are ridiculous and make this app almost unusable now, coming from someone who loved the app before and is top of the leaderboard for their school in yak karma this is such a disappointment!

I like the fact that this app is anonymous. But I’ve noticed the left leaners post hateful/harassment/violent things. But if someone says anything mild as a conservative/rightwing- expect to get temporarily banned. The type of stuff I’ve been banned for is ridiculous, compared to the stuff I’ve seen from others. I’m considering deleting the app.

I’m within my limit of letters in my post. So much so that I’m not even allowed to put any more. So I settled for what I had and it still went over even though it said I was within the character limit? I was allowed one more character, so I put one more character. But the post is too long..? Help me understand why you have a character limit set more than the in app limit? This makes absolutely no sense to me.

I logged out of my account because I couldn’t delete one of my communities. Now I wanted to make a new account to add my current college, however I am not receiving the code that is necessary to log back in. I am stuck not being able to use this app.

a recent update hid the post button to the right of the replies and dms switches. That panel is too big so the post button is off on the right side of the screen.

I got banned today for CALLING AN ANIMAL UGLY??? This app is unusable
