Can’t hear my bass even with the amp on max but pretty cool

Also had to pay for this which was kind of a bummer

Idk

It gives you lessons and stuff and helped me a lot but it makes you pay over a period of time and my microphone won’t work so I also have no idea if it’s right or wrong and also it makes my score a 0 now.

Meh

Overall a good teacher, but a little overpriced and occasionally doesn’t pick up notes

it’s ok

yousician is great for people learning guitar but most of the songs aren’t free. you can only watch the introduction to all the learning courses and you can’t use the step by step song guides for free.

Beginner/country

Beginner player needs country to play in this learning exercises. Think traditional country George Strait, Alan Jackson Brad Paisley. Think from 1990’s, 1980’s, and before. The possum, Conway Twitty, Kenny Rogers, Barbara Mandrell, Reba. The exercises are great the way they are broken down. Just need more choices foe beginner and absolutely more country. Thank you for your hard work. Dana Jones

Goal riffing

It’s been a great program so far for a beginner guitarist like me.

no.

it only takes you so far, but then you have to pay

Love it!

This app is amazing and the setup is something that helped me finally learn guitar after all these years! I feel confident and ready to tackle my music career with more confidence now! Thank you guys so much!

Good could be great…

App has many awesome features. Why not allow saving a profile setting for practice mode etc? Also develop a transpose feature. So you could easily move to different keys/positions.

Could be better

It’s a good app. The only problem I have is that it makes one have to purchase a higher subscription just to play other music. It wouldn’t be a problem if it just said that, but after buying one of the lower subscriptions when you get to choose a song it will only allow you to play the first song even though none of the other songs are locked. It will let you click but not load it.

Fun

I’ve had a ton of ton of fun learning on this app. But I have 2 issues with it… 1. I wish the scales were on here 2. my subscription after your year had expired and I opened the app to see if I could still use the tuner and it’s somehow renewed my yearly membership at $189 without me agreeing to anything. Still baffled how that even happened.

Song selection too small

I do like many songs available on here, however i would choose a lot of other songs if available

Great app

This app is amazing and it’s helped me learn so much. I’m a complete beginner, and this app actually is suitable for me. It really starts off with the basics and has you feeling confident and I love how it gamifies playing guitar. This is an overall great app.

Wish I wasn’t broke

I was excited about the app at first , then I went onto it the next day and I can’t do any of the practice without paying for the free trial so , I get it though this app is really good for first starting gutiar so why not make some money off ut but , you know just a bit disappointed ..

Pausing to see the tabs

I love youcision guitar but the problem is it’s hard for me to just practice the song without practice or perform mode. I just want to be able to look at all the tabs and practice on my own but every time I pause the song it takes me to the beginning and acts like I want to play along again. I just want to be able to look through the tabs of the song, though so I can get comfortable and then do practice mode but the app makes it hard to do that.

Said it was free in ads, then asked for money??

I saw this one YT and downloaded it to put my guitar to good use, after learning basics, it asks for a subscription???

I love it.

I love this app it is so so helpful.

Good App

It’s a good app if you’re willing to pay the money for the lessons

Play it!

Is the best game in the world you can learn like many songs there is lots of songs you can play guitar you can sing you can play ukulele piano lots of stuff you wanna play it badly if you wanna play it badly then download the app right away

I need to pay?!

Listen, I love the app. Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome! The tuner actually works, and I haven’t seen any glitches, but I can’t really pay. I want to, but I don’t own my own credit/debt card I am 13, and my mom would have to pay. There is no chance she would agree, so there’s that. Overall, I do love the app, but I can’t really use it. It’s way better than ultimate guitar, so there’s that. Still, though. Absolutely wonderful. God bless the developers for making an easy way to learn this kind of

App review

The app has been teaching me a lot but you have to pay fork like 90% for it to teach you and explain it more. Therefore I am deleting this app.

Software needs tweaking

It’s an effective tool. Basically guitar hero with a real guitar. Often the software will fail to identify notes and strings you are playing though so it can get real frustrating sometimes.

use if you wanna spend money

This app is fun but it makes me mad that i can only do a couple lessons before i have to do the subscription to do anything else

finally a cool way to learn

I am glad I found this app

🫵🏽op

The only way to do that would have the ability of a single player in the

Omg

This app have taught me so much in just three days!!!

Great App!

Great app love it but you do need to pay for it

Why is everything locked

It’s a good learning method but why do you need a subscription foe everything

From beginner to intermediate

I love the courses are interactive. Meaning you see what needs to be played and just go for it. THEY EVEN GUIDE WHAT FINGERS TO USE WHICH HELPS SO MUCH. If you’re new to guitar and need a sense of direction to get a really great head start. Look no further than this. However, it’s a little on the expensive side but much better than any other apps/courses I’ve found.

Improve tempo

I love this app, it’s been great in teaching me how to play ukulele and guitar, however there is no clear indication on the tempo of songs or how fast certain parts are going to go so learning songs or passing lessons becomes difficult and frustrating. The little dots leading from note to note only represent how long the note is held rather than how quickly you move from one note to the other which is terrible for someone with no musical background.

Life changing app!

I originally learned the Bass 30+ years ago but stopped playing. I’m using Yousician to return to my glory days, but this time with a better breadth of hands on experience with different music styles. The catalog of songs and pieces is huge and it’s updated every week. Friends ask how my return to music is progressing. It’s hard to not include Yousician in my response because the impact has been significant. I wish the actual score would scroll along with the dynamic fretboard while playing so I

It’s great

I just wish I didn’t have to have a subscription to get all the songs and stuff. I can only do the limited stuff but that’s on me it’s not the app I love the app.

Pls read devs

I don’t know if i should spend my allowance something where I don’t know if should trust the reviews and my moms doesn’t trust free trials she says ”buy it or not no free trials” thanks for reading so can you at least make some actual songs free.

Great app

I've always struggled with formal training so the fact that they made it like a game really helps me . Love it so far

No point unless you have the subscription

I’ve been trying to find an app to help learn guitar for a long time because I’ve always been interested so I found Yousician and love the app it was a great way to learn and taught the basics in less then 20 minutes but everything after that you need the subscription for which is like $60 for 3 months I believe and as I go into college I can’t afford anything like that for anything much less an app I just wish there were more free lessons or even songs to try and teach yourself but other than t

Paying🤥🚨⚠️❌💵💸

I love this app a lot!.. many apps did not help me like this one did. But I wish it was free after I found out that this app was not free I am no longer using it anymore because I’m a kid and cannot pay for this so I rather go on YouTube instead and learn for free.. I wish you guys had this app free so I can easily learn how to play! Since I will no longer use this app and continue with YouTube I hope you change your mind and having an option for people to not have to pay. But absolutely loved y

Do it!! It is so fun and you learn very fast!

No regrets! I am on week 2 and I am loving it! 46 year old trying to learn to do what i have always wanted to do. Play great sounding music. This beats going to a private lesson. Loving it!

Very Fun!

A fun, easy way to learn different instruments. I myself use the guitar, and it is quite fun to learn!

Well it's ok but...

This app is completely fine and I have been playing for a while because I do vocal. But I have been playing for a while and I am on level 7 vocal. But it feels the same as level 1 and you basically can't sing any songs unless you pay. So if you want to get better on music singing guitar drums etc just take lessons.

Helpful

My family is gonna have a band when we are older and i am the singer so i pressed the sining one and now my voice is ready to be heard.Yall really need to try this game, even though the ads are weird in a way just try the app and then it will help you alot on your goal😁😁

Super fun way to learn guitar!

Yousician makes something really difficult (i.e., learning guitar) fun and enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, like anything in life worth doing, you get out what you put in. But the work along the way is softened by outstanding instruction and a good variety of songs. If you’re serious about learning guitar, Yousician is the way to go!

Excellent but too slow

1 Negative User Reviews for Yousician: Learn & Play Music

Great for teaching but watch out for the sound quality

I downloaded this app to help learn the guitar. The “lessons” are helpful but it’s so picky on when it comes to recognizing which notes you get “correct” I have adjusted the buffer and it doesn’t seem to help much. You can turn the sound up on the amplifier but you might blow your eardrums out before it counts as “correct”. This app has helped my skills but the quality could be better.
