Decent app. Requires making free account
Works just fine for me and shows the Wet Bulb Global Temperature where I live in Massachusetts. If you are unaware WBGT is not how we normally measure temperature. It will look completely different than your normal forecasts and is useful for knowing how safe it is to exercise outdoors in your area.
I really didn’t like how I had to make an account. The app already asks for your location so there is no need for it to save other data just to deliver local weather. The built in weather app doesn’

Question Accuracy
This app helps support youth sports to provide a safe practice/playing environment. Don’t always agree with the overall rating for a particular time of the day. However, by following the guidelines provided student safety is highlighted.

Having this app at my fingertips helps me, as an AT, make informed reports to field officials and game directors. To know whether activities need to be modified or canceled is invaluable knowledge that can save lives and keep spectators, athletes, and officials safe.

Quicker and more convenient than a handheld meter
I started using the app recently and it is a lot more convenient than carrying around a handheld. I checked the readings against a handheld and they are either identical or very close. So far, so good.

This app is a great example of a tool that does exactly as advertised. Do you want to know the WBGT? This will give it to you. It will also allow you to see various scales for WGBT and their recommendations for outdoor activities.
As opposed to other apps, it’s clear you’re getting the WBGT here and not the Wet Bulb Temperature, which are (unfortunately) two different things.
And that’s enough. If you need the WBGT and know what that is, then this is the app for you. If you don’t, go google

App is okay, but there’s something wrong.
The thought of the app was a good idea, but for some reason, when in reality it’s 100°F, IT SAYS ITS 90°F ON THE APP, MAKING IT OKAY TO PRACTICE???? That’s crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room filled with rats. The rats made me crazy.
ANYWAYS, something is wrong. Please fix it ASAP
