★★☆☆☆Needs a bit of fixing, maybe?
Kind of disappointed in this app. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful designed even cute. But it’s not working well on iPhone 11 Pro Max or some some sometimes. Trying to send feedback but the button in the settings menu isn’t responsive.
It’s sad I can’t use the timer as just click on a button.
★★★★☆It is a cute app, but...
.. not the best timer app. For the timer to start you need to put down the phone so the screen is downwards. I get the idea, but if the camera isn’t covered the timer won’t start. I personally would like to be able to have the screen up so I can see how much time is left. I also expected the app to ’lock’ my phone so I couldn’t use it during the timer, but it didn’t. That was just an expectation I had though, and nothing that was promised by the developers.
The design and in-app relaxing sound
★★★★★Great app to focus
BFT works really well. The choice of white noise sounds is broad enough to allow picking one that works best for you - my choice is the sound of fire. The cards are nice and will often make you chuckle. Turning the phone metaphor, I think, works really well - you are telling yourself “now I’m focusing”. After all, when you really need to focus, being able to actually do that is priceless. The cuteness of the app is a cherry on top.
