Finally it can auto-detect dark mode🎉 Dear devs, may your pillow always be soft and comfy.

It would be very nice if this feature gets fixed. Also when dark theme is enabled on reddit for example, the site get very laggy. If those bugs get fixed, i'll give the app sollid 5 stars!

Quite a good app but with flaws sometimes at Certain Websites Images are not showing up and the search Bar is inoperable. In certain cases the websites are completely black or inoperable with every setting in the extension quite a contrast to the flawless browser extension. A report button for non working websites would be much appreciated to improve the end user experience.

I love it thanks so much for making an ios app that adds dark theme to ios safari finally. For real my eyes did hurt in that light theme. I love dark reader totally worth the money. BTW I use dark reader also on my computer and love it so happy it works also on ios 17

Für mich zählt die App zu den Essentials auf iOS und MacOS. Nutze sie seit Jahren und sie ist jeden Cent wert.

Funktioniert fast überall und ohne Nachdenken. Auf dem iPhone, auf dem iPad und auch auf dem Macbook. Ich halte den Preis für gerechtfertigt. It mir lieber, als mit Werbung “bepestet” zu werden.

I really love this extension and am absolutely willing to pay a one time price for it. Every site I have visited looks like it is supposed to. It is such a pleasure to use this in the evening. Sadly it does not seem to work on pdfs, even though I've read before it should. Maybe it's a bug, maybe its does not work, I don't know, but it would be so extremely nice if it would work, since it makes writing my thesis later in the evening a lot more pleasurable.

For me, this is the best dark mode app on the iPhone. This is because it is incredibly performant, only a few MB in size (compared to the bloated competition), has a very nice dark mode that can also be customized, recognizes the dark mode of websites and does not overwrite it, and can darken images if desired. Everything that makes a good dark mode, without slowing down websites. I can only recommend the app, also because I have previously tried some others (cheaper apps) and was not satisfie

Does not work exactly like the iOS Safari extension. Does not recognize dark modes of websites and always displays its own. Was expecting the same function and was disappointed.

It lacks the ability to save settings for individual sites.

Leider stürzt sie manchmal ab auf macOS Big Sur ... kann sie dann nicht mehr einstellen – ein Tipp was man machen kann, wäre ganz gut. Ansonstne funktioniert sie überall wunderbar!

Die App ist super cool, manche Webseite hätte ich nur gerne im normalen Modus sowohl auf dem Mac als auch auf dem iPhone, ein iCloud Sync zwischen beiden wäre super!

Bought the macOS version and do not regret the decision at all. Now it also works great on iPhone and iPad. The developer is also very responsive.

diverse sieten erkennt das programm nicht 100%ig aber es ist auch so schon deutlich angenehmer. das einzige was mich wirklich schwer stört, ist das blaue icon in der statusleiste. leider verpasst das icon das design von safari

Genauso wie auf dem Desktop. Bestes Feature seit iOS 15!

Ich nutze die Erweiterung schon länger auf dem Mac. Bin dort sehr zufrieden. Mit iOS 15 kommt sie nun endlich auch auf das iPhone. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Dark Reader has the best dark mode so far. I‘ve struggled with Noir because it fails on some websites but Dark Reader has been really solid so far.

Im Prinzip dunkelt das Proggi Safari wirklich gut ab. Leider muß man sehr oft manuell eingreifen, um zw. Dynamic Mode und Filter Mode hin- und herzuschalten, um das Ergebnis erträglich zu gestalten. Was aber richtig nervt ist, dass das Ausschalten überhaupt nicht zuverlässig funktioniert. Zunächst scheint es zwar so, aber nach Aufruf einer neuen Seite ist der View wieder abgedunkelt - obwohl das Proggi immer noch auf OFF geschaltet ist. Also im Ansatz ok., an den Details hapert es aber noch ...

I don't know if the problem is new with Sonoma, but the dark mode is not instant for websites. You see a first white flash of the normal website before dark reader kicks in the dark mode... Hopefully the problem will be fixed, because the extension has nice features!
