The concept of creating a transparent media overview is very valuable—it’s a mission that goes beyond a typical news app. The app is user-friendly, though the recommendations/rotations don't always surface the most relevant news for me (disclaimer: I use the app from Europe). However, it excels when exploring the media representation of specific events. Really love the app and all the functions. Unfortunately not really helpful in Germany. Many big news are not available and I don‘t want to pay for two news apps. If they ever but more local news in there I will be back.

I may be a rare voice in that segment - but I really like to preview quick news topics on my Watch. Please consider to make a convenient watch app extension.

Die Webseite ist klasse und auch die Idee. Die App ist gut, aber es fehlt für mich eine grundlegende Funktion in der App. Bias Comparison fehlt!

Awesome app, but a German localization would be nice

Super Konzept. Ich finde es sehr gut die gleiche Nachricht in verschiedenen Perspektiven angezeigt zu bekommen.

I am here because of recomendation from perun. The app is very well structured and you can see the difference between headlines of several news agencies. You can also see videos and choose your feed.

I really like the idea and the app itself. Most german and european news aren’t covered at the moment.

I wish this app followed Apple’s human interface guidelines, and was properly designed in general. Bad colors, cluttered, hard to navigate.

The best news app out there, without any close second.

Ground news is in my opinion a realy good solution to cover Information over a wide range and include all extremes of opinions. The Portal uses well thought-out solutions that help to classify all the information correctly in order to ultimately form one‘s own opinion

Great idea for a news app and very well executed. But unfortunately the german news are not as well presented and available as the american ones.

Really good news app, with plenty of cool features to find the news you are interested in. I would like the app to be multilingual, for people like me who live outside the US.

I’m not a subscriber yet but still the app is very handy, it sends you notifications about the news that you are interested about, these news are summarized in the main page and you can click on it to open the news medium that it’s published on to see the detailed version. And also you can compare different publishers really easily. As a person who’s always late to the news or the trends now I’m the one informing people about the up to date stuff. It’s amazing.

Ich finde die Idee sehr gut, um schnell relevante Infos finden zu können. Und immer die Quellen zur Überprüfung zu haben. Aber die Umsetzung ist wirklich nicht gut, ich nutze es kontinuierlich weniger. Ich bekomme im Feed immer wieder dieselben News, auch wenn ich die schon gesehen oder sogar gelesen haben. Jeder RSS Reader ist da besser und zeigt mir auf Wunsch nur neue Nachrichten. Und Deutsche Artikel werden in der Übersicht ins Englische übersetzt, mit üblen Fehlern. Und auch die Zusamme

Also ich finde die App hält sich in Grenzen. Funktioniert bei weitem nicht so gut wie in der Werbung. Als wirklich praktisch empfinde ich sie nicht. Klar, man erhält ein paar Extra Infos ob die Nachrichten eher links oder rechts sind, lohnt sich aber für den Preis keinenfalls.

Wenn man danach sucht, gibt es Nachrichten über Europa, aber die sind selten. Das meiste ist über die USA, vielleicht noch GB. Und was man über Europa findet ist dann wieder aus US-Prespektive. Ich weiß nciht, wie das für einen Menschen außerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten hilfreich sein soll. Es sei denn, man will mal wissen, wie die Journalisten da so ticken. Aber das hat dann schon nichts mehr mit Nachrichten zu tun.

Die App scheint recht nützlich zu sein, was Nachrichten in der englischsprachigen Welt angeht. Wenn ich aber nach lokalen Nachrichten suche, finde ich irgendwelche internationalen outlets, die die dpa kopieren, Quereenker-Blogs, und viele Zeitungen haben keine Bewertung. Momentan am deutschen Markt also leider nicht empfehlenswert.
