  Someone was having a chat with me a couple months ago on whatsapp and he turned the read receipt off back then. Now, I've been checking our chat conversation again, and the ticks became blue, but the "read" date is a several days ago. Does this mean all the chat turned to blue ticks after someone is turned on their read receipt? Or it becomes blue after the person turned their read receipt on and open the chat conversation again?
