Amazing!!!

As a companion to the desktop app, this app is wonderful! I can make and import decks on my computer + change the notes around in mass and then I can take those flashcards anywhere with my iPhone and iPad!! Way better than quizlet, because I only have to pay once. Thank you for this app!

Stellar!

This is the only app that has made memorizing vocabulary actually possible for me. I found a tutorial explaining how to use it on Youtube and haven’t missed a single study session. It nice to finally have an app that does what it says it does. Thank you so much Anki!

audio problem

Even though the audio in the answer part is set to automatic playback, automatic playback is not possible.

Change of heart

My initial view of this was negative because it’s not an easy app for beginners. But fortunately I have figured out how to use it and the app is fine.

Thankful for this app

I have been using this app pretty much every day for almost 3 years now. In all seriousness, I would happily pay 10 times the amount of money that this app actually costs. As a learner of a obscure language this has simplified the process for me in ways I can't overstate. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is serious about learning a foreign language. Just keep up with it every day. If you miss a day, get back on it. If you fall behind a few days, just get caught up. It's worth it. Yo

Too many error messages

My internet connection isn’t ideal (can’t do much about it), but I wish there was a way to stop these error messages. They get so annoying.

Great App, Can we add Keyboard shortcuts for the magic keyboard

Great app the only downside is that we don't have the same type of keyboard shortcuts thats on the desktop version like jkl shortcuts

Greatest flash card app ever, but small issues.

It can’t sync automatically in the background, so cross device experience is a little bit painful.

Confusing UI/UX

Solid app, does the job in a limited sense. Features are mostly on par with desktop/Android but I find it very confusing on how to access them. Typically when I want to do something it's preceded by 10 minutes of random clicking until I find the right option hidden in an unintuitive area. I'd love to see an overhaul on this. An easy start would be a long-press menu for decks to pull up deck options, custom study, etc. I've lost count the number of times I've tried (and failed) to do that.

Does the number of cards on do on the app not sink to my laptop account?

Other than that everything is great

For the cost a ugly looking app

It’s the original Anki app and platform. Screw the the other ones. The developer rarely updates the app though and even though the sync works for the most part very well it’s just very expensive for what it really is.

Amazing platform, just one problem with app

I’ve used Anki for languages for years. Before, you could receive a notification at a certain time every day that reminded you to study. However, it doesn’t work anymore unless you have the app open in the background. I don’t know what happened because it would work without having it in the background. Could you add a push notification feature or something?

Learning Chinese

I love studying with this app! The UI is a bit bland but I’m able to effectively learn the words that give me the most trouble and only occasionally see the easy cards! I love the presentation algorithm :)

Original and the best

Anki 😍😍😍

The original - worth every penny

Ignore the fakes. This is the REAL Anki app for iOS. It is worth every penny!

The best value on the App Store

Anki is the best spaced repetition app, period. I use it on macOS and iOS. Worth every cent of the cost.

Needs Joycon Update

Please update for use with single joycon

Life Changing

This all program is incredible! Most people who are having issues are commenting on glitches with the app. I suggest making your cards on the desktop version (which is free and super easy to set up) then use the app or web version to study! Trust me it is better than any other program out there. The spaced repetition that’s built in is the main factor will help you get the grades you want or finally learn whatever language!

Worth every penny

Use this app every day. Fully featured and very stable

I love Anki

Anki is the best application on my phone. I love how the app syncs with my computers. Anki is amazing

Well worth the money

Anki is helping my college career more than any other study tool. Well worth the money.

Fantastic app!

This is the best Anki app available on iOS. Wish I would have started using Anki 10 years ago.

Fantastic!

I was a bit skeptical after reading reviews but I am very pleased with my purchase and use this app everyday. It makes studying on the go very easy especially since I make all my cards on my pc and sync them to the app. It beats using the web version on my phone as this app displays media whereas the web version wont.

Brilliant app

I’m reviewing this app because of how helpful it is. yes $25 for a app is really expensive but it’s worth that and much more. it’ll change the way that you learn things. Long story short if you create a manageable number of cards every day say less than 20 per day you’ll be able to keep up with it on most days and over long periods of time you can learn thousands and thousands of things with ease.

Invaluable

When I first bought the app a few years ago, I thought its price was a bit much. Now, I think it’s a bargain. Anki is life changing.

OGG Support

Neat and almost as good as the Android app. However, I’d love OGG support. I don’t like having to convert everything to mp3/wav when making cards in order to make (yet another) special exception for my iPhone.

Best study tool in existence

Well worth this price if you plan to study in the long term. If not, the desktop version more than suffices

Ultimate tool for memorization

Used over the years for so many languages. Well worth the $25 to support Anki The desktop app and web version are free so personally I bought the app after a few years having used it for free

Expensive but worth it

If you’re really into Anki and you always use it don’t think twice about buying the app. I know 25 bucks can be a lot for an app but I don’t regret buying it. For me it works better to study my decks on the phone than on the computer.

What smart device applications should be

Delete your social media apps. Build your card deck for your desired field of study. Grind, repeat. Stop wasting your time elsewhere

Syncs with Mac Anki

This is the only anki app on the iOS App Store that syncs with the official Anki for MacOS

needs some more options for scratch mode.

or just give an option to switch black/white pen because black or white blank parts in pictures makes pen hidden.

Please Support for iPencil and hide iPadOS 15’s dots (bottom and top is not beautiful)

for example, when I am writing in the check box, it’s too high, and in iPadOS 15, there exists three dots at the top of the screen, which is hard to write down(with the function—write down and make it be texts)

Anki cards are not automatically playing audio anymore

Anki cards are not automatically playing audio anymore. Autoplay enabled but doesn't work anymore upd: it was silent mode ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

MCAT essential

Seriously, this is the best app ever to study any standardized test. Best MCAT material ever

Helped me pass my test

I like that I can connect this with my computer so I can study away from home

Image Q/A 2.0

Can we get some tutorials on how to use these settings…

Worthy companion for mobile

Bare bones but functions. Happy to support the dev. Note profiles don’t appear to sync at this time which is problematic.

Best flashcard app (but mobile app should be updated)

The app is great but the mobile-app version is is very limited, image occlusion should be added to the mobile app, there are a lot of features that are available in laptop version that isn’t in the mobile app.

Lovely, currently having problems

Love this app. This morning, both the iPhone & iPad versions stopped accepting input after 3 cards. That’s … a problem.

Status bar bug

Great app, there’s a small visual bug that makes the status bar transparent with white text when you switch to the black, dark, or slate themes. Please fix 🙏. iPhone 12 Mini, iOS15

It’s the real deal!

Great app and syncs with your Anki decks! Dev needs to trademark the Anki name because the amount of copycat apps is getting ridiculous.

please add preview in batches function in iOS

Can’t manage templates, can’t change labels in batches, can’t preview in batches, can’t find duplicates, and cannot do without the computer version

cannot do without the computer version

Can’t manage templates, can’t change labels in batches, can’t preview in batches, can’t find duplicates, and cannot do without the computer version
