Really good app wish there was a reference window on iPhone.

i justo wanted to put a photo and draw on it but it wouldn’t let me use the photo or any other photos

It. Has the power to. Use it professionally. And is easy to use. I switched from Corel painter after 30. Years. I can use it with Mac and iPad. Artstudio Pro is the next step up from ProCreate.

I drew and tried to add 4 layers but it needs purchase. Brushes are good. My draw is gone when I tried to sac but it's needed purchases…

By FAAAAAAR the best photo editing app. It’s not even close. You can do anything you can do in that big name program on a computer right on your phone.

This is one of the best drawing apps out there! Worth your money if drawing is your passion. You won’t have to buy any other app to do your art! This app has it all. Take your time to learn the app, you won’t regret it!

Best app for graphic professionals on ipad. Used Procreate for a while till I found Artstudio Pro, I never looked back. Great for drawing, painting, basic graphics, has almost everything.

Its a great app… if you know how to use it but it wasn’t great for me because as a beginner it was hard to figure out the controls and it was impossible for me to paste a photo and trace it like JUST LET ME DRAW so thats why I rated it 3 stars I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re like really really good with tech

I really love this app, and I’m glad I have it. I have just started my obsession with digital art, and was looking for a free art app when I stumbled upon this. This app is easy to use, ACTUALLY LETS YOU SHADE and really comes in handy when you feel a bit lazy.

I love this app. So simple and easy to pick up. Very much prefer this to procreate.Overall, the best art app and most easy yet advanced. Procreate is way too complicated for me.This is for art newbs like me. Thanks for the continued updates. Underrated and needs more acclaim. I’ve recommended it to so many art students and they agree.

I’d suggest to the developers this: instead of making the background of the canvas a layer, instead have the background be uneditable unless specified, or give artists the ability to activate multiple reference layers! This would make the app perfect, 1000%!

ArtStudio does everything I want plus uncounted things I haven’t tried. They keep it well updated and advanced. I follow. Their online manual is thorough. Easy export to all my formats and destinations. Handles huge files at a variety of resolutions. Layer handling superb. Filters, adjustments comprehensive. Fine brush variety, color selection methods. Good selection set. What more could I need? Do your magic: Artstudio.

Artstudio is good. The file system is better than what Procreate offers, but the workflow is not as good. You still have to tap exit buttons to close tools here and there. Most of all there’s still no good symmetry. Why?

Absolutely worth the money! The new interface is intuitive and comprehensive—it’s just as easy to use and it can do so much more. You can change the highlight color of the menu buttons, which I immediately did :)(to purple!)

This app is very good, maybe even better than Procreate, but needs a little fixing. When I was drawing, my iPad died. When I logged back in, I couldn’t see my artwork and all of it got deleted. The app developers need to work on auto-save an$ not having to actually save.

I downloaded and used the free trial for 3 days and had a fantastic time. Now I can’t pay for the subscription in the app because it is glitched out and says (null) / year and (null) / lifetime under payment tabs. When I click on them nothing happens but a spinning wheel. I’ve let it sit for 30 minutes after clicking and nothing happens. Do you guys not want my money. Lol

Love this app, compared to other drawing apps the interface and functionally feels a lot like the toolset and layout you’d find on a PC. Makes the transition a lot smoother for doing finalized artwork when it keeps you in a familiar mindset, plus improves upon it with things like the tap menu pop up’s and customizable shortcuts!

i've been using artstudio since 2011, and to see you guys starting subscriptions for the app is very disappointing. also, i cant for the life of me figure out a way to set font size to a custom number instead of the presets

Ever since you updated with the new layout, creating a new file from photos on icloud and sometimes even on ipad HANGS and NEVER OPENS. Please fix as soon as possible, ive had to pay for photoshop to hold me over because this destroyed my workflow 😭

This is an excellent drawing and painting app. However, there seems to be a problem importing documents. "An error occurred when importing..."

Super app! Easy to use, professional and enjoyable. I like the ability to have a thick oil brush as well as the ability to customize the top Toolbar. So far I like this art app better than any. I’m still learning it.

Allow us to hold a key down to activate a tool and when we release the key it reverts back to previous tool. Like clip studio/Krita. This would be great for keyboard users. Hope this comes as an update. Thank you. I’m liking this app more than procreate already.

If Procreate, and Photoshop had a baby, this would be the offspring. It’s got all the features of procreate and more, plus a useful subset of Photoshop features. It’s not entirely intuitive, but after spending some time with it, and I realize this app is truly a graphics powerhouse.

Best brushes out of the box. I’ve been painting digitally for hundreds no thousands of years. This is my favorite iPad app. Hands down. Get the app or I’ll steal your cookies!

Liquify and text boxes, those are the only two things that i cannot find as options, i can make brushes, and the texture brushes are honestly so helpful and fun. I wish this community was bigger, this app is so over looked. I have a slight problem with the save system, but its nothing i cant work with and grow accustomed to.

Although I wish it had a symmetry tool that I could find/use.

Procreate is for children. This programs for the big boys!

This a recent discovery, I wish I had known this one before I downloaded a bunch of silly apps, very powerful, the lost star for lack of a comprehensive manual and tutorials.

Easy to learn for someone with little editing knowledge

Can we get the option to make velocity make the brush size bigger instead of smaller. I got a reply before but the developer misunderstood.

After the last update I can’t upload any psd files. Had to import from procreate

Not to be rude but i think you shouldn't have to PAY to simply save your drawings. I give it two stars because the tools are so cool! I would appreciate if you could at least save drawings for FREE
