Avis - Car Rental App Reviews

The app said, “Your Rental is Ready”. I tapped Choose My Car Now but then it said, “Your chosen car is not available”. If there is no car, then the app should not show “Your Rental is Ready”. This has happened to me several times. Please fix the app so that it does not show a rental when there is no vehicle.

Ive got max status at all the rental car companies. Avis is good on customer service but i dont like the app, car picking process. Its a good idea to be able to pick cars but when you cant this is really just an annoying way of pretending you have an option. Herz program where you just get in a car is better, pick when you arrive rather than pick through an app.

The electric car that Avis provided, without my knowledge, was very challenging. I picked up the car at 5:30am with no attendees, and I did not know it was electric until I started driving it. However, I didn’t have a choice but to continue on my business trip. Not ever having an electric car was very challenging trying to find a place to charge it and being afraid I would run out of charge on my business trip. I love Avis services, everyone is very courteous and respectful, I also can use the app with no hangups. I honestly appreciate how I can make reservations online, I can call or go in person. More than anything I really appreciate the professionalism more than anything, thank you Avis.

by not being able to modify reservations online like every other car rental company. So, I rent cars literally every month due to business travels. AVIS is the only company that makes my life miserable by NEVER being able to modify my reservation online. I always have to call in and speak to customer service. ALWAYS!!! You need to add a feature that allows for a reservation, with all pertinent details, to be added to your Apple Wallet.

I’ve been renting from this Avis for awhile now, and the rental agent Michael has been phenomenal in his assistance to make sure I’m satisfied and that I receive the help I need to meet my needs. This is the place to rent from. Mike is just good people and he has made experience worth recommending to others.

Love the way I can rent my car and walk straight to the rental and leave skip the lines and customer service is helpful when needed!!! And the app is so convenient!!!!!!

Work with Advis through Coporate relationship. Made it easy to book, pick up and adjust rental drop off on the fly. Very easy to use.

Not working properly. I current have a rental for over 10 days and still hasn’t shown up as a current rental. Wondering if it will show up, if I have an issue, will Avis support me. Craig

I showed up and did not get the car I wanted and no one was at the preferred counter. Very aggravating

Whenever I use this app over 30days it's very difficult, resetting password, edit credit card but you have to go all the way out or do a split payment. However, cc is not expired but the app says it is.
