Calendar 366: Events & Tasks App Reviews

I’ve tried what seems like all of the calendar apps, even Moleskin. Calendar 366 is the iPhone of them! As a paralegal and student, I used this app for everything- social calendar, financial calendar, health calendar, etc. and it’s been the best!!

I love the app and it’s a great calendar and the developer it’s very responsive but I had to uninstall due to constantly having issues with the time zone. Even that I am in the U.S.A East coast every time I add an appointment/ .ics it change my time zone and date and time of the appointment I thought it was the event it self but it doesn’t happen with the default calendar app.

I cancelled my Fantastical subscription when they decided to double their subscription cost. I’m actually glad they did, so I was able to find Calendar 366! I have severe ADHD and my entire life revolves around my digital calendar I’m in love with this app! I immediately purchased it; it’s an excellent bargain. I really like this app - especially that it’s a one time purchase. One issue though is that the touch target for adding an event is too small. With a case on its very difficult to get the add an event page up. It should be a lot bigger and moved to the left a bit.

No matter how many other calendar/reminder apps I try, Calendar 366 is the one I keep returning to. 366 is simply the best all around app of its type. It handles scheduling and to-dos without issue, receives regular updates, and has an attractive GUI that is intuitive and easy to read (not cramped). Recommended without hesitation.

I purchased this app because of the recommendation from of the popular tech YouTubers. This app is super basic, which is fine. But what is not fine is that it’s buggy. I’ve added an event with a specified time range within one day, and it keeps adding it as an event from 9pm of one day to 9pm of the following day. I tried to edit it multiple times, hit Save, and it still shows it like this.

Fantastical replacement, great job guys, would be fine with a “tip jar”-type capability, happy to send some $$$ your way for good development and tremendous payment model - purchase once, own it, but we should have the ability to send additional for any new updates. 😃

Let’s just say this is a “Fantastic” replacement for another calendar app who got greedy and increased their already overpriced subscription even higher. Dumped them and now this is my go to calendar app. To anyone looking for a great app, this is it!

I’ve used fantastical for years until recently when glitching in recurrent events became the last straw! I have searched left and fight for an interface like fantastical and could never find one. And then enters Reddit. Someone made a comment there that calendar366 is virtually the same interface as fantastical and only a one time cost. I jumped on it and now i’m beyond ecstatic! Can finally delete fantastical and move on. Thank you for the smooth brilliant app.

Been using Calendar 366 since 2018. I open the app at least 8 times a day to check on my to-do’s or Dr appointments. Everything I need to accomplish today is listed, no matter how small. After I complete a task I put a green check mark ✅ to clarify that the task was really done. My memory isn’t as good anymore. This IS my go to app - Calendar 366! Thank you for constantly updating.

Apple’s widget doesn’t

This is by far my favorite UI. It shows all events written out in month view, which is what I need over the stock calendar, and the dark version is actually pitch black and beautiful. Everything is easy to use. Love this calendar. Keep up the good work!

Can't get badges to work with iOS 15.

This calendar app is phenomenal and syncs with all of my calendars. I really like the different views you can choose from and feel it has a view for each one of my needs. Syncs well and I really enjoy being able to see my task or reminders in the app as well. I’m a big fan that they did not go to subscription route and instead is a one time payment. Highly recommend this Calendar app for anyone that is looking for a calendar that syncs well, includes your task and reminders, and has a responsive

Literally only needs 1 feature to be perfect and that’s event and task templates so it’s easier to enter events and tasks when you do shift work. Add that and it’s complete.

I almost never leave a review, but I really have to say kudos to the Calendar 366 developers. It’s been a year since I stopped using another calendar app because they decided to go the subscription route. I am over the moon happy to have found Calendar 366. It has everything I miss from that other app, and an affordable price. Love it. Thank you!

I effin love this app!! I even have this app on my laptop. BEST one out there and I’ve downloaded at least 7. Suggestion: colored fonts, ability to add weather to event, colored backgrounds, more widget options

Great Feature set, no subscription, syncs well and doesn’t crash

One of the few calendar apps that I am able to search my entire calendar back to 2002. What a great app. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to what your future updates will bring.

I like how everything sync with mac and my phone. Just wish that there is option to wrote detail notes on reminder i create

Tech support is super responsive and helpful would recommend the purchase to replace the native iCal

Calendar sets well executed. Haven’t found another app that does it. If you use lots of different calendars to stay organized, then this apps for you.

The Apple Watch doesn’t carryover from phone. Secondly when I want to get schedule from the past I need to go to calendar app because it doesn’t swipe. I love that the reminders sinc with phone.

Overall, a great calendar app. The user interface can be configured easily, the different views are super simple to use, the app is fast, and the design friendly and intuitive. Kudos to the developer for being thoughtful about the user’s needs.

I would give this calendar 5 stars if it had an option to confirm an appointment when a client schedules. It just needs a data field for “yes or no”.

My experience with this app has been nothing short of stellar. Excellent app that I highly recommend. I don’t understand why this is not the number one calendar app on iOS

feature request: native weather forecast. Glad I fount this app. Bought the mac version as well.

Title says it all. App opens fine but it takes a long time to actually load the calendar data compared to other apps. It’s slow enough to leave the app for something else.

App works great now with update!

Love the layouts!! Biggest downfall is that I have a schedule app called MakeShift and this calendar app only loads my “designated day off” not my regular scheduled days... makes it unreliable. Please fix. Otherwise would rate 5/5.

Excellent app- A Very Flexible Calendar App ‼️

This exactly what I was looking for. I tried other, more prominate apps, but they were missing watch complication capability, features that didn't work and/or their pricing is rediculous. Thanks for a great app.

Loving it so far. Coming from F3 after they added a sub and took away the ability to do almost everything with the free version. And yep I am salty. So take my money Calendar 366 dev.

Honestly better than the new app in every way. My only gripe is for several years fantastical is the only calendar app that offers full month view in the widget. It’s invaluable to me to see without needing to fully unlock my phone.

C366 has the best UI, the best AppleWatch complication, and is priced fairly. Note that it allows appointments to be set in a “floating “ time zone which is not doable with the native Apple iPhone calendar.

App used to have some inconsistencies and oddities in the UI. The latest updates have squashed those, making for a powerful scheduling app.

Switched from fantastical and never looked back

...since a certain recommended app decided to commit suicide. Don’t know why this doesn’t come up first when I search for "Calendar" in the Apple App Store app. Clean, functional, intuitive-just like I expect Apple related products to be.

This app is not as good as Fantastical 2 was, but is certainly better than Fantastical 3! Happy to use it on my iPhone, but I will use Fantastical 2 on my iPad until it completely stops working.

A very good app, especially compared to a couple of others that were “highly recommended”. My only issue is that the description says that it works with the Siri watch face. It does not, fix that and it would receive a 5 star rating.

This app is great and will probably benefit from fantastical taking the subscription model. I really like it I just wish that you could add sub tasks in reminders

Needs an iOS 14 update. This is my Fantastical replacement. Love it! Great UI and very easy to use. All my calendars update from Apple to Google. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
