Totally Addictive!
I started playing the game, intending on playing 2-3 rounds or a half-hour's worth. But when I finally pulled myself away & looked at the listings, I found out I'd been playing for 3 HOURS!!! I couldn't even be too sorry about all that time, wasted on a game, because it was really just so much fun!
Starting with an ad???!!!!
This is a good app, and like other reviewers, I like its many features. However, I really hate that there’s an ad before I can start my first puzzle! I would expect ads between puzzles, but it irks me to start like this.
Cant get rid of ads
Would be perfect if there were an option to get rid of ads.
Great game, bad banner ads
I really enjoy this game. Puzzles were challenging but solvable. Ads were limited and not annoying, but the banner ads started scrolling across the top of the game so I couldn’t see the puzzles! I stopped playing and deleted the app, but would still be playing it were it not for the ads blocking the puzzle.

I find this game challenging. I like that you can set the level of difficulty. I have been playing this game for years. Used to play in magazines and was so happy to find it in the App Store.

I have been looking for an Codewords app where I could customize the difficulty (so I could get truly difficult challenges). This app delivers! And it’s free!

Ads don’t go away
I like the game but the ad doesn’t go away after it is done. It waits for you to download the advertised app…even if you don’t want it.

Way too many ads
Can’t play more than 2 games without at least one ad. Sometimes 2 which have 30 second timers so you can’t get rid of them right away. Would be nice to have a paid version to get rid of the ads.
Too much time watching ads
I would like to play the game but the ads take up most of the time
