Great mobile sub game. Intuitive UX, and subtle gameplay details make for a very enjoyable experience. Not all of these are covered in the tutorial but you can discover them for yourself. For example, double-tap the manual gyro offset to re-zero it. And sonar range is reduced based on ambient noise like screws or depth charges. Not the greatest 3D world graphics, but you'll spend most of your time on the chart screen anyway.
I absolutely love this game. Everything about it is great. Even the crew names are period appropriate. There’s lots of subtle detail but the game play is simple. It’s fun right off the bat and gets better the more you play and develop your skill. I hope there will be another sequel, and if there is, it would be great to include some interior views of the submarine to make the experience feel even more immersive (no pun intended). Thanks for a great game!
I’m usually into flight games, but this is a great combat game. Highly recommended.
This isn’t just an excellent submarine game, it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played on the iPad. It strikes the right balance of being a fun WW2 submarine game, with a little bit of simulation features added. There’s a surprising amount of small details that show the developer is passionate about the game and submarines in general. Things like being able to adjust the gyro angle, bottoming the sub, hearing enemy ship propellers when they come close by, rain drops on the binoculars causing
I played this on PC before I played it on mobile and both experiences were great fun. It’s one of those games where the complexity is customizable, I can spend hours playing it and micromanaging every little detail or I can hop on for 5 minutes on my lunch break and sink a couple ships without having to worry myself about any tedious mechanics. If you’re in need of a time waster, your primary gaming platform is mobile, or you’re a submarine enthusiast, this game is a must-have.
Yup!…😎🎶
Sometimes you want a game you can walk away from for a little while. Crash Dive 2 lets you do that and not loose the flavor. This is an excellent sub game, and no disrespect intended. It is particularly nice that you can be away for some time and not loose your place. Graphics are much improved from the first Crash Dive, and the ‘expansion packs’ are appreciated. The developer of this program has every right to feel proud.
A German uboat version is badly needed
I would will enjoy if you added a first person or you can enter the submarine and see your crew working and you could go to the cabin’s room and you could walk around the submarine and see all the moving parts and stuff
Gameplay reminds me of Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific. No ads, you just pay up front. Graphics are simple but gameplay is so good I don’t care. I’m enjoying it very much.
As the title says, it’s a good game, easy to play. I’d buy it again.
This game rocks. Harder than a steel barrel full of rock monkeys.
Game now locks up unexpectedly. When using rudder commands, the game puts submarine into uncontrolled circling, both left and right. This makes it very hard to control
Great graphics and intuitive interface and controls. Well done, best sub warfare game I’ve found
Great game , reminds me of an old pc game I used to love and is the best sub simulator I have found for mobile. Now that you have made this game, you should consider making one just like it from the German perspective where players command German u-boats trying to sink allied shipping. I would buy that game as well. Unless you could do it as an expansion pack to this game or something. Either way I would buy that.
Years ago I use to play Silent Hunter and Silent Hunter 2 on my home computer. I loved those games! This is the closest thing I have found like those games and I now love this game as well. I don’t know why, but the satisfaction of sending a ship to the bottom is exciting!
I love this game I’ve been playing this game for a few months now, the only thing is I wish you guys will add an external camera that will make the game better. Hope you guys do that!!
Wish there were bubble capsules to release to fool enemy ships like the original Sim. More geography options, custom built missions, etc would all be welcome.
Pretty self explanatory lol
Truly one of the best games available. Sophisticated. Customizable. And the developers respond quickly to any suggestion. I’m addicted. Thanks for your efforts developing this game.
Crew: efficiency by rank/rate x skill point Ability to spend funds to upgrade/promote Ability to send crew ashore Ability to pillage fuel Free moving camera…. Please
This is probably one of my if not the best games I have played though I do have some suggestions More campaign missions in different parts of the Pacific theater Having Allies ships in the area for some missions That’s it for now
Just about as good as silent service Better in some ways
Keep returning to this game time and again. Campaign is my go to. Finished campaign on Medium difficulty, which is pretty tough. CRUISERS FIRING TORPEDOES AT SUBMERGED SUBS? Ridiculous, but good game otherwise. #1 request - give us the Atlantic submarine campaign. Pretty please? Make it in-game purchase. $10, $15, maybe even $20. Or charge by campaign? 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, etc? $5 each?
I liked Crash Dive I a lot and this sequel is even better. Lots of details and great visuals. Highly recommended. It has crashed on me a few times but I have an older operating system on my old iPad Air, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
A U- Boat version is needed
New missions would be nice....🍺🍺
This is the best iPad game I have ever seen. Better than WOTB: Blitz, for sure. Thank you developers, finally, a simulation that matters and I will remember 10 years from now. Bravo guys!
Crew: efficiency by rank/rate x skill point Ability to spend funds to upgrade/promote Ability to send crew quarters crew ashore Ability to pillage fuel Increase passive awareness of all hunter/destroyer ships
Best sub game on mobile and I love your dedication to it with frequent updates and support. I also love the ability to make modifications. One aspect I would like to see added is a difference between surface visibility range and under water sonar range. Ideally the sub should be able to hear ships at a much greater range than they can be seen. Thanks again for offering such a satisfying sub simulation.
One big change could be the option to use differently subs like the Balao or Tambor, among others, and instead of ships appearing instantly when they are in view range, it would be cool if they fade in to or out of sight! And more enemy ships like the Mutsuki class DE and Fubuki class DD, and a external camera would be nice as well as I saw many people put that in the reviews 😆 And this is more of a preference, but the Moyko and Kaga have the same model and Akagi and Takao class CV sand CA. (Moy
Add ability to enter data into a real TDC and you will hit it out of the park!
IF you been looking for a sub sim like I have, this is IT. Ive had the first one for a long time and liked IT, but wished for more. This is more Life like. Even the stars at night , I found the big dipper. I Love IT. I was wondering, Why was the counter defence Not put in. Its ON the first game. Or is IT An UP grade. But this is a great game!
Only way to make CD2 more Fun/&Playable is ti use nore like CDOne ! Fan of original Crash Dive, But cannot see where my ship is. Colors are better in original and ships easier to find on radar. I return to original more Fun Nd easier to use.Enemy also difficult to see. Ai love original Crash Dive and love the new graphic. Also would like a training level just to play and get used to new application. Old US Navy vet myself. Love to play for hours. I am patient and will stick around. Mahalo Init
This needs a 10 ⭐️ option. About a week I ago I was playing the original CRASH DIVE and wondered if the developers made other games. Pooof! CRASH DIVE 2 !! This is an incredible WW2 Submarine emersion game. I prefer the campaign mode. Can’t wait for Crash Dive 3 or a new game involving modern submarines. Keep up the good work! 👍

Very realistic yet easy to learn and play. Visuals are well done and the realism is much appreciated over run of the mill sub sims.
I played the first crash dive and this is a good follow up. But what if you made a new one with a modern 1990s thing like hunting the red October (not the video game like the movie)
This one has too much of a learning curve in comparison to the first one. Nothing wrong with that, but if you want a shorter game that you can play on a quick 15 minute break then I’d go with that one. I got halfway through the tutorial on this one when my eyes glazed over and I started drooling. Also, you get to be the bad guy in the original game.
Crash Dive is a fun enough submarine app but it had it's limitations and I was waiting for an update that never seemed to come. Now, I know why; the developer was working on this sequel. And what a sequel it is! Crash Dive 2 goes more in-depth (no pun intended) into the decisions that need to be made to successfully patrol unfriendly waters in a WWII era submarine. I wish I had known about this sequel earlier.
Great graphics. A lot better than the original Crash Dive. Would be amazing if the final mission was to witness’s and confirm the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Maybe on a future update.
Countermeasures are important, so far no enemy submarines either, would like real world engagements
As a fan of the original Crash Dive I think that Crash Dive 2 has knocked it out of the park. The attention to detail exceeds expectations and gives many hours of fun.
The game is challenging and varied to sustain interest and entertainment for some time. Tutorial is thorough while not tedious. Excellent simulation.
a U Boat version is needed. Yes there is Crash Dive with a U Boat but it’s more arcade type of game. A crash dive 3 with a selection of German submarines would be nice.
