Wait is OVER

Wanted to give 5 but haven’t gotten deep in a project yet. New upgrade was what I was waiting for. Those new sound libraries are what it was missing, but not anymore. The tweaks for the new sound modules are perfect. I’m not a synth programmer but what they give you is simply beyond powerful in editing the sounds. And the sounds,… muwah! Can’t wait to get into it!

Does all the basic stuff you need.

Would be nice if you had a channel for effects sends though. Maybe I’m just missing it.

A real sequencer on my iPad!

Intuitive, MIDI, audio, cool affordable fx, Waves plugins, external plugins go right into each track. I’m set! Sehr danke! 😎

Cubasis has reignited my creativity.

I am so grateful for this app. It has the perfect balance between functionality and limitation. I have used Ableton and Reaper for years and I find myself having a lot of fun these days just making music in Cubasis. Thank you all at Steinberg for this!

Working well until recently UPDATED v2

This DAW is unparalleled in almost every way. Unfortunately, my latest experience is that it locks up upon launch. UPDATE. I may have figured out what the problem is. Apparently the app takes time to load all of the audio units because it eventually does launch and restores the most recent project. PS Dev responded quickly giving reason for the lag due to AU plugin density - which confirmed my suspicions. In other words either use fewer plugins, use less mem-intensive plugins - or hope that devs

Better than Logic Pro iPad!!!!

I have used both since they last came out. The simple fact that Cubasis is not subscription based means you keep controls over your “FILES”.. neck and neck in quality of sound for beat creation. For mixing logic wins I think. But that’s still not worth the subscription.

Unexpected scroll

Love this app really big league but when in edit screen if `I touch the top or bottom of the screen it jumps at high speed to the top or bottom with the loud gliss sound. That’s my only gripe and I use the app every day. It’s worse when using the pencil on iPad Pro 3rd gen

Simply the best Daw

if you compre this daw with the gold, it is the same this is the best daw i am very, very happy thank you Steinberg.

Suggestion

Automation cannot be copied to previous audio regions. You can't remove it with your finger either, the UNDO/REDO notification (takes a long time to go away). Thanks for your attention. You need to add the function to automate the tempo. Logic iPad has it, but when CUBASIS has that feature, NOBODY will be better than CUBASIS.

CUBASIS

LOVE IT, clutch!!!

The best DAW for IPad

I start songs laying around in bed or on the road, take it into my studio and fully flesh them out. With the AUv3 support this is so powerful. I can make crazy sounds in here, it’s amazing and inspiring. The only thing I wish for is the ability to save presets and have a favorites lists for presets and plugins. I know it will come. Love you guys, thanks so much❤️🥰❤️!

No mono outputs

It would easily be a five star app for me if it had mono outputs.

Cubasis

I like this app and the price.

A Request…

What I would like to see in Cubasis 3 is warp markers, be able to chop samples and loops inside mini sampler, select all chops and it automatically assign to keybed. Also if I add more MIDI notes to a stem it should automatically update. Why do I have to merge events? And please update mouse and keyboard in regards to scrolling. Still glitchy.

Best DAW for iPad

My iPad is a professional music making machine thanks to Cubasis. Well done!

Critic

It’s amazing app but it does not support plugin for s sound reduction

One flaw

Only thing keeping me from using this over my daw, is the ability to view all midi notes on the piano roll from multiple tracks and to step input from the keyboard directly to the built in piano roll tool. Other piano roll apps dont suffice, i feel this could be the best mobile daw if this is added.

I gave it 4 stars

I would of have five, but sometimes when I load a audio unit or interapp sometimes it like mutes the track without it being muted, even tho notes are still there. And they could use more drum instruments and presets. Actually more presets of every instrument than there is now

Wow!

I had been using GarageBand for quite some time, but I needed more editing software for my genre of music (metal, hard rock), so I did a ton of research on which DAW would suit my needs and I finally decided on Cubasis 3, it has SOOO much editing tools and great built in instruments, it honestly makes my songs sound professional. Also, EQ-ing electric guitars is such a breeze with there Waves 10Q. I LOVE this app and I thank the devs for such incredible software.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 Stars

Honestly, I’m surprised the rating aren’t higher. Where else are you going to find a fully functioning DAW that supports third party pluggins where you can mix and master on an ipad? I haven’t been able to find one that rivals Cubasis 3. And yes, while it would be nice to run a full desktop DAW such as Ableton given the power of the M1 chip, this is the closest we’re going to get for now.

Amazing

Super smooth, clean interface. Amazing little studio in a pocket. Well worth the money.

Logic is sleeping on Cubasis 3

I could tell the moment I opened this app for the first time, and went on to open the settings that this app is remarkable. I’m super thankful. I’ve been a reluctant Logic snob for some time because it’s what I’m most comfortable with, and it packs so much value. Since this jokePad Pro does not have Logic, I finally took the plunge on this, which compared to Logic at $200 is not really a plunge at all. I’m super freaking stoked. This is a desktop-class app. You’re killing it, and I am ever so

Desktop? What desktop?

Cubasis is a great, well developed app. Pairing its capabilities with the iPads mobility you have the ultimate option for in studio or on the go recording.

Best mobile daw hands down, but..

unable to find how to eq individual drum samples rather than the whole kit, UI is great but has a huge learning curve. the original cubase daw on PC seems easier to learn from new than the mobile version. either way this puts the other mobile daws to bed.

Awesome!

I bought this yesterday and have no regrets! Perfect DAW!

TWO YEARS IN

I am NOT a tech savvy person but I’ll have to say I took to this app like a duck takes to water! I’ve created 4 or 5 CDs with Cubasis 3 and each time they keep getting better and better. I continually learn new things this app/program can do! I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a DAW!

Like Baby Logic on iPhone

Honestly, this app is really awesome! I don't have a laptop right now and I missed using Logic Pro, so I finally decided to try this app out and it is amazing. I'm glad this app exists and brings advanced features to mobile. I'm loving the results. I would like to change pitch on audio files more than one octave though... but that's a small request.

Simply the best.

I am really getting so much music accomplished using this amazing app. It sounds amazing too.

Great product for on the go

I use this product to record my song ideas on my phone and iPad. Using a UR22C I connect a mic, guitar and midi keyboard and “poof” instant portable studio.DaBear

It works well with iPhone no hiccup ,no crash . Well done steinberg!

I highly recommend d this app for everyone

$50 well spent…

For $50… and to have with me on the go at all times, I am totally happy with how easy it is to edit, record… the app doesn’t get any easier to use truthfully.

Decent DAW

As far as mobile Daw’s go this is definitely one of the best out at the moment on iPad iOS. A few things I’d like to see in a future update is the ability to save a vocal chain preset and drag and loop files. Also the Play button is hit or miss since the button to exit the app is kinda merged right on top of it which is annoying.

Almost

I am having difficulty with the markers being so small that I cannot drag them easily. Am I missing something? It would be great to be able to long press and them and type in the location. Also, when I drag them they should should just keep going from screen to screen but it only lets me drag it to the visible screen and then stops and I have to drag it screen by screen to get to the location and sometimes I’m dragging a bunch of stuff with the marker and I have to start over.

Collapsing of my instrument window

For some reason my instrument window on Cubasis will not open or come on .Is there anyway toRectify this .

Love this app tho it gives me small issues most times

I don't know if this problem is specific to my IPad mini or the app itself but the cut and glue features, alongside stretch feature don't always work during first open use of a session. I have to launch my app tabs and refresh the app almost everytime to access those during a session I've already got going. Most times it didn't bother me since it was sparse and quick to fix. This new has update made it an incessant buzz kill now. Hurts my workflow just needed to put it out there.

Warbling Acoustic Guitar

I am using this with a scarlet 2i2 and I have added a couple effects on the guitar channel and I get a guitar that warbles. Almost like the tape is being stretched on a reel to reel or 8 track if you can remember that sound. The vocals on channel one are fine.

This is a Monster for Ios

You can do almost anything on this. If you want to learn it all, just go to You tube and plug-in Cubasis and anyone and everyone will teach how to do anything and everything on it. The most Pro... Production App on Ios, so far..

Almost five stars

Do not buy this unless you wanna rely on auto saves. Otherwise a solid program with a lot of features and very user friendly. Great for beginners and experienced individuals. Please add the ability to save though, I feel like that’s a no brainer.

It’s Frosted Flakes

I honestly don’t know what to say other than it works …great It’s a blast to use Current setup 2021 iPad Pro steinberg ur22c interface, rode nt2 mic .and Beyer dynamic dt990 headphones …so far i have yet to reach its limitation

Excellent DAW

The best just got better. I use three AU programs inside of Cubasis. And there’s nothing that I can’t do. IOS has caught up to desktop, for my needs. Constantly improving! The best iOS DAW, with excellent tutorials on YouTube.

Best IOS DAW

This app is a work horse.

Great App But Crashes Constantly

Great App But Crashes Constantly

Needs better sampler

If this program had a sampler like BeatMaker 3 this would be the best beat making / recording iOS program ever!
