Groups are here but...
As soon as I heard that one of the new features was group I bought the app, unfortunately they don’t collapse though. For me to use a Daw this is essential. I don’t want the Daw to control my arrangement. Minimalism is great but sometimes you want all the choirs, horns and strings.
Apple Pencil
The Apple Pencil doesnt work.
Thank you for 3.01 update
I was holding off stepping up from Cubasis 2 till this arrived. Thank you so much for this. Works perfectly, my in app purchases transferred across flawlessly so credit where credit is due. I know the mini sampler still needs fixing but Steinberg have at least been transparent about it and it’s on the way. No crashes. None.
I am spending way more productive time with this than Logic on my iMac. It has even got me interested in Cubase Pro - mostly because of the easy air drop project transfers I
Update for mouse support
I like the program and it seems very versitile. One suggestion for the next update would be to uppdate for the new mouse support for scrolling menus and right clicking would make the program even better!
Easy to use
I use Cubasis to adit podcasts. Easy to apply effects and to edit.
Almost there
The only thing this fantastic DAW lack is a timetrack.
The best portable music production station.
Cubasis 3 is easy to use, has much to offer and is the most effective for me who is working on an ipad pro. Plugins works beutifully. easy to navigate and it has all the functions I need.
If you have an ipad, go with Cubasis. just do it.
Review
Not possible to record in a loop, good sounds and no limit tracks
The best option
I have investigated different ways to create music on iPad and this is the most complete solution I’ve found.
As an example, Xequence 2 + Audiobus + AUM didn’t make it all the way. Various things that broke my workflow.
As for Cubasis. Ffs please provide the same search option as AUM has. Drag down to show a search field for Audio Units 💗💗💗

No transfer from Cubasis2
It seems impossible to import in app purchases made in Cubasis2 on old iPad into iPhone version. According to info in the forum I would need to buy a new iPad that can handle v3, install both versions on that and only then is it possible to restore IAPs so that I can have them imported to my iPhone.
Please correct me if I got this wrong.
Bad midi editor and mediabay is not intuitive
Although a good DAW I find that there are 2 things that I’m struggling with.
The Media bay is just an quirky, just make use of the iOS files directly. Instead of drag and drop into the editor you have to import it into the media bay first and so on.
The midi editor is bad compared to Xequence, Helium and Atom.
And it seems like there is a problem with Bluetooth headphones too.
