Pretty cool app if you have negatives but not the actual photos. You can create new photos using the negatives. Its best if you have the device or light box needed to do so properly. You can use your phone as one, however the quality is compromised, in my opinion. Only a 3day free trial. Still pretty awesome I had lost a certain photo or 2 I liked and was able to use this app to recreate the photos from the negatives. Love this app. My parents had a bunch of negatives that just sat in the bottom of their box of photos, and worse for the wear. This app brought them all back to life. I even found some negatives that were from the 1930s, and the pictures from them turned out better than the negatives from the 1970s. I highly recommend this app!

Grrrreat resource for saving old photos!!!!

I served in the military and had lost most of my photos from my time in service. I found the negatives and was able to bring back those military memories with this app without having to go to a photo shop. The quality could be better but the photos were good enough to for my use at this time. I may send some of the photos I select to be professionally done.

I really appreciate this app. It was able to scan some very old negatives, and while the quality is not perfect, it’s pretty good and allowed me to save some memories.

Could not find anyone to print pictures off of found negatives without sending them off. Found this app which is easy to use and had the pictures ready to go within a few minutes.

What a wonderful tool for those of us racing to digitize photos and all we could find in our grandparent’s shoeboxes are photo negatives. I also purchased the Photomyne back light on Amazon. The back light is a must for working with negatives. Thank you Photomyne!

A simple-to-use tool to get your old negatives digitized for getting to know your old film stash. The “good quality” could still be too grainy to recognize individuals in a group photo. For a close to the print quality, look for a better solution.

Easy to use Brought back new memories

For the longest time, I’ve been searching for a place that develops film and negatives. I come from a family of “photo sleuths”, and I literally have thousands of old negatives. I was one of those people who take the negative up to the light, magnifying glass and squint like mad trying in vein to identify who’s who, and where when, …. I like that I could actually test this app out before I purchased the premium option. I was trying another app for negative scanning and I couldn’t see results unless I upgraded to the paid for app. I could scan negatives and see the images with the free version then upgraded to get the premium version. This is how an app should work. Let me try it completely before I buy it. thank you.

I am seeing pictures I had completely forgotten about - it is a pure journey into my past - the slides that I thought were too faint to see were brought out to enjoy! It is quite nice to colorize some of them - this may take me a year to complete but well worth the time!

Using this I was able to recover my parents old negatives with so much history of our family. Awesome.

Great app! It does what it says! I came across some old negatives in my mother’s basement and this app gave me the capability of turning these old black & white negatives into quality photos and you can even add color!

My mother left behind hundreds of negatives, of which the photographs were disbursed among family members and I’m sure mostly lost. Developing these would’ve been a monumental cost and not many people want actual photos now anyway. The scanning appHas allowed me a peek into the past of my family’s life and enabled me to share photos with interested family members. I have had quite a lot of fun with this.

I have been able to have prints made at Walgreens from 80-100 year old negatives of my Dads. Seeing him as a young man has meant so much to me.

Purchased when came out originally and used twice and keep forgetting to stop subscription. With all the money spent I could have purchased a physical hardware so I can use whenever I want. Kinda busy right now to use App

Mom had some negatives out, so I signed up for this app and it was great! Easy to use!

This app is AMAZING. We found 90 year old 3 x 5 negatives in a shoe box. Had no idea how to bring them to life and this app did it. My wife is sooo happy to bring her dad’s childhood to life. So good! Thank you!!

It mostly does what they say, just not very well. It only works for 35mm. Forget 120 or anything else you might want to digitize. Forget slides, they want to sell you another app for those. It doesn’t do very well with black and white. If you don’t hold the phone flat over the negative at exactly the right height, it distorts the image. It will generate a positive image from a negative (at least a 35mm negative), but it doesn’t look very good. But hey, at least it’s expensive!
