Bugs almost to the point of uselessness

When playing Frosthaven scenario #8, clicking on the “Create summon” or “Add monster” buttons didn’t do anything. We couldn’t add hounds as the scenario advanced, so we ended up using the free x-haven assistant app. I prefer the visual design of this app and I look forward to the improvements and fixes that would make this app fully functional. A companion app is definitely easier than managing all the tokens and cards and counting!

Can't add monster

The "add monster" button is unworkable. Please fix it.

New bugs in new version

Great update recently but now can’t add monsters when pressing the add monster button

Fixed the bugs

Thanks for fixing bugs

Battles and nothing else

This app is the probably the most optimized way to track battles. It’ll take care of monsters and the loot deck, as well as, track initiative order. So it gets points for decreasing setup time. It’ll mark which scenarios are completed which is also useful. That said, tracking which scenarios are completed is all it does in regards to campaign tracking. It does not track stickers, completed battle goals, or anything else. So if you bought this hoping it would save you time when switching out st

Good app

Good app overall. The new keypad for initiative has the numbers in the wrong order though. Can this get fixed?

Indispensable

With the update they pushed out since the last time we played Frosthaven, this app has become a perfect companion to the game. Couldnt imagine playing without it

Helpful, but missing some information

Very helpful with consolidating lots of info/parts into one location. There are still a few issues with the app, but they seem to be working hard on fixing them. 1. The loot deck isn’t much use as you cannot assign the loot to a character. 2There are times where the scenario starts and you add monsters after a certain amount of rounds, but you have to manually use the add monster button to add it to your available monster list. 3. There also needs to be a way to upgrade the loot deck.

Bugs impacting gameplay accuracy finally fixed

But networking remains hit or miss. But when it works, it’s actually a really week done, and convenient part of the remote play experience.

Solid MVP

This is a solid first release of an app, with lots to build on. As long as this is something we see frequent iterations on I’m confident it will be good. At the moment it’s missing some features we’d expect, and online connectivity hasn’t been especially reliable for me yet. Looking forward to seeing what’s new in the next version update.

3 Negative User Reviews for Frosthaven: Official Companion

Not Impressed

I like how it populates scenarios with appropriate monsters, along with automated modifiers, but no such features for characters. Lots of things that could be tracked and applied, but aren’t. Not as useful as I expected for the hype.

Not working

The app was working great and I thought it was a nice streamlined way to play, once bugs were taken care of. But recently it got bugged out completely and my old saved game cannot be used at all. I have to create a new party to play it. Fortunately, the campaign isn’t tracked using it

Latest Update Causes Major Problems

Update 1.4 breaks character summons. Also NPCs/Objects cannot be given hit points. Also characters cannot increase their hit points above maximum to account for items like the Traveling Cloak. Prior to 1.4 characters could not increase their maximum hit points to account for items like the Traveling Cloak, and positive and negative effects would end at the end of the round rather than at the end of the character's next turn which will almost never be at the end of the round. Updates are supposed
