14 Positive User Reviews for Fruit Patch App
Inspiration into Knowledge
Fruit patch app is awesome. Whether you are looking for a little inspo as to what to plant in a zone or you are looking to get into different plants and their benefits. Love it
Perfect Fit
I’ve been wondering what fruits would grow well in our area and appreciate finding an app that narrows the wide range of choices down. When I look at the nursery catalogs it all looks and sounds good but know from experience that many do not thrive here in the east even though they are rated for our zone.
Clear and immediately useful
I live in an urban lot in MD and have wanted to know if it is possible to grow fruit trees in my space. Having said that I am busy and don’t want to spend the hundreds of dollars that landscape designers want to come out and consult for planting options. This app provides clear-cut recommendations that I found easy to follow and well-reasoned. The detailed artwork and descriptions of the plants was helpful and built my confidence that these people know what they are talking about. For 99 cents t
Great idea
I love the idea, but the instant I started creating a patch I was in over my head (I’m a newbie). It’d be nice if the app had a novice mode that explains everything, even more than the app does already, for those who are completely new to this.
Love this!!! Would be 10/5 when West Coast is included
I know this may take. Some time so, if you would be so kind as to start with growing zones 8-10+ at least we can make a correlation here in Southern California!!!!
Thank you so much for this awesome resources! Love the info, nice clean aesthetics, and inspiring ideas to bring it all together. Love it!

Beautiful illustrations, clear and easy to understand directions . . . bring on the food forests! ✨
Beautiful and thoughtful fruit planting app
I love this app! It has gorgeous illustrations, and insightful text and audio for fruit planting (and companion planting). The approachability and straightforwardness of it as demonstrated through pictures and words creates and inviting and exciting space for beginner or advanced growers.
Clear & Beautiful
Conceptualizing a food forest patch from scratch can be super challenging. This app makes it simple by suggesting companions for your trees AND telling you how and when to plant them AND providing lots of other resources to help you on the way.
The artwork is also lovely and inspiring. Makes me want to head to the nursery ASAP.
I look forward to seeing how this app grows and expands!!
Wonderful
The app is very helpful in designing a couple of Pawpaw patches in my backyard. I know exactly what I need to do and where I need to go to choose good plants to go around my Pawpaw.
Clear and Easy-To Use
I love this app! I have done some gardening before and have always wanted to get into fruit trees but the prospect has been intimidating for me. This app made the selection process easy and straightforward - I don’t want 1000 options but a manageable number of them that are proven to work. Knowing ahead of time that the trees would produce fruit in a year or two also made the decision to buy them from the nursery easier since I know it won’t be 10 years before I can enjoy the rewards.
Easy to Use
I love this app! It is easy to use and I love the artistry. The entire concept is so useful and environmentally forward thinking for the future.
Helpful app
Genuinely care about agriculture and it’s obvious. Great features. It’s only a buck and it’s worth it.

1 Negative User Reviews for Fruit Patch App
not at all useful
What is supposed utility of this app? I’m a 20 yr gardener and keenly interested in planting fruit trees, pollinators, etc. I’ll save you the time: you pick paw paw or elderberry. Then you have a list of potential pollinators: echinacea yarrow Baptisia etc. You can’t select the plants you choose to make your “patch,” you can’t save the varieties you might be interested in for taste or zone hardiness. You get a very basic non customizable non selectable list you can find for free with five mins o
