Please, add Air Stream to TV feature to read from a big screen.

I could put videos, PDFs, other files and images all in the same folder. This makes it super handy for studying or other situations where I need to reference various data.

It’s like having convenience of PC documents storage. You can store files and folders, and open within this app. Music, video, pdf, etc. Annotating PDF is a special feature within this app.

It has been painstakingly difficult for me to find an alternative to Librera (That I used on Android ) on iOS that supports custom bookmarks. To anyone that needs that functionality, this is the app for you.

Please update the widget for iOS 26. It currently displays blank icons for documents and commands in the GoodReader widget. Also, it doesn’t have run in background option in iPhone settings.

Excellent text, PDF editior, strong protection for access and encryption, good file managment but a little dated compared to current editors and I would have given it five stars if it only had a letter - word - sentence counter as part of the application to keep track of how small or large the document has become. Thank you for many years of a solid application.

I got Good Reader a number of years ago and it seems to be even more powerful and reliable than many other apps I commonly use. This is also far more intuitive for me personally.

Been using for many, many years. Fantastic App. This is the only app of this sort that i use. I used it to sign and return documents for both probates and property sales. Something changed, though. The save video bookmark no longer works to download videos from Youtube. Error message indicates incorrect address. PLEASE UPDATE! Still works on an iPhone 6s Plus that can’t be upgraded anymore, but newer versions of iOS don’t work.

Simple. No frills. Has a rotation lock. Gets the job done.

God reader has exceptional tools, search capability, and is very easy to use. It organizes all my pdfs very well. I would like to see a way to drag and drop files around. I’m still learning, but I am a subscriber.

If you will be off the grid but either want to read work documents the Good reader is the only way to go.

I’ve been using this product for more than 10 years, and referred to it daily. I’m quite pleased with it. It’s my repository for all sorts of documents that I want to preserve and later refer to or review.

Great an full of features

This is a daily user. I have used for 5 years now. Save whole books or manuscripts to it and then read and annotate. I do research and put all my finding there and have offline access anywhere anytime. Awesome!

Have been using consistently for years, tried others, none compare

Renders pages very slow even on iPad Pro. Some pages look distorted but show fine On Acrobat. This used to be the best but now isn’t.

The new version has undesirable issues. Like not being able close file once open. It seems like the more they mess with this app the worse it’s getting.

Love this app - Use it often. One of the most versatile iPhone/iPad apps that I have.

This is a fabulous product, have been using it for >10 years and now the pro pack. However, one major flaw: you can’t sync bookmarks! That is, if you’re reading a file in GR on two different devices and add a bookmark in one, it never shows up elsewhere. And if the file gets updated on one device, the bookmarks disappear on the other. I’ve sent support request years ago, and yet no improvement. I regularly use files that are 100s of pages long. Bookmarks are essential.

I’ve been using GoodReader for nearly a decade now and continue to be impressed with this product. I use PDFs daily for work and find the interface makes it incredibly easy to read, highlife and underline. Please keep up the good work!

I have been using GoodReader for many years. It is my Swiss Army Knife of apps doing everything I ask of it for reading, editing and storing PDFs as well as managing files in different storage systems (iCloud, DropBox etc).

I love this app, best PDF reader on iPad.

I've been using this up since I bought my very first iPod touch 2nd gen. This app has always been updated to the latest iOS. The developer has always been on top of everything. It is the best file manager and PDF reader on the iOS ecosystem.

I use God Reader constantly in my IPad, unfortunately the application doesn’t allow me to see in my iPhone. Hopefully, the creators see this problem and bring the option soon

Much easier to organize pdfs on my iPad than other apps, including iBooks which mysteriously disappears everything sometimes

If not spend another money.

iOS 26.2. Like the title said, it crashes constantly. It’s the only app I have that ever crashes. 2 stars because I like it when it runs. Updated Anan 2026: still the only app I have that crashed — and it crashes every single time I import a file/photo.

I canno crop each page with different margins. It ends up affecting all pages.
