GoodReader PDF Editor & Viewer-apprecensioner

Update: finally the new version is here. Very promising. Some minor things needs to be straightened out. Like why is the time time and connection info at the top showed when reading documents in full screen?? Declutter - - - GoodReader has been one of my favourite apps for iOS for many years, but the development has fallen behind the competition during recent time. Now it feels aged and buggy. C’mon devs, let’s get GoodReader up and running again!

I’m very satisfied now with the new verson of this app. I would like only to have vertical scrolling and negativ or night visin also.

Mycket bra app för hantering av pdf. Utan den skulle iPad inte vara ens hälften så användbar!

Is there any way to change font though??? The typewriter font is not very pretty and ”font” is gryed out when editing?

I can’t live without it. Great for reading papers and having all important papers stored with annotations. Wow! However, the manual 1990 style connection sync connection to Google Drive has to be fixed. I end up having conflictions and missing files all the time. It is a mess! Pleeease!

After updating my iPad to iOS 14.2, GoodReader has start crashing every time I exit it, I.e.: I get a crash report every time I restart it and a option to send it to you. I have sent it but have received no response. BR Anders

This is a useful and well made app that handles PDF files very well.

Love the app. Need to make comments and highlight etc. Perfect to store science papers. I wish I could do the same with epub as with pdfs in goodreader.

I'm not missing anything.

You can’t drag files from Files.app to Goodreader. Takes forever to open files. Links to files are broken, you have to copy the file to Goodreader. Also, you can’t open to documents side-by-side because Goodreader does not yet support iPadOS’s multiple window feature. Stay away until this is fixed.

The menus that keep popping up every time you want to turn a page makes it really difficult to use Goodreader. Any other pdf reader I have used has been better, and in most cases free.
