GoSatWatch Satellite Tracking App Reviews

I’ve been an amateur tracker for a couple of decades now and have used some great applications over the years, including Traksat and WinTrak. GoSatWatch ranks right at the top of my list. Always accurate, great GUI options and have never had any bug issues. I like that I can point to the TLEs that I’m interested in. Well done and “professional grade.”

Even though the developer hasn’t done any updates in years it is still hands down the best of the satellite trackers for the iPad and iPhone. Clean, easy to use interface without unnecessary clutter choking other similar apps. Easy to add additional satellites. The perfect no-nonsense app for satellite tracking. to the developer: please please please update to keep this great app working!

I have tried several sat apps. I always come back to this one. Nothing is perfect but for me it’s sure close.

I was very skeptical at first for it shows the last developer activity seen on the app was two years ago, and then it being $9.99 …I was almost certain this was a mistake… I was wrong. No lie, his is actually the most solid app for satellite tracking. I’ve been using these apps for years and not one comes remotely close to this app layout/design.. Today, I revise my original review. As much as I love your app, I really became frustrated with the fact that it just sat for a long time untouched. A friend told me about another app (ISS Tracker) that I started using, but it’s still not as good as GoSatWatch! Yours is the best satellite tracking app in the iOS App Store. Would love to see on screen display of when to switch Doppler Shift frequencies as the sats Passover for ham radio. Would be a huge help.

App is fantastic. I use it constantly to track ham radio says. Thumbs up baby!

This app does not show the satellites on a 2g touch but works great with iPhone. I guess u have to have the gps sensor in your device for this to work.

This is a very well-crafted and highly functional app! Really needs the freqs for working the birds, though. Would make it stellar.

I have downloaded a lot of apps. It is nice when you find one that works. This app is easy to use and is accurate. I just spotted the space station thru a break in the clouds, right where this app said it would be. Love it!!

This app is good, but too expensive. It's lacking some basic features. Look at Vito Technologies apps, they look feel and behave better and the price point is better.

I love this app, however it needs an update for iPhone 5 😥other than that I'm completely satisfied 😃😃😃

The app is good and has a great interface. It would be five stars if it could predict Iridium flares and show the predicted flare location on the sky map.

Works great at letting you know when where the satellites are passing, but wish it told me more about the satellites.

It's hard to spend $10 on an app that's really unnecessary, but this one's worth it if you can get out of town once in a while. With GoSatWatch and a dark sky, you will be amazed. Civilization's not all bad!

This is a good app as far as it goes, but I don't see geo-stationary satellites, which is what I'm looking for.

Great app but stopped working on my iPhone for space station tracking while it works on iPad. Any ideas

I used this app for a very long time to watch for visible iridium passes but it seems to no longer show them in the passes menu. It only shows the ISS. Sad.

If the app crashes immediately upon opening. Deleting and reinstalling the app fixes the problem. Developer, thank you for the quick fix.

July 11 2019 update The app has started crashing continuously. I deleted the app and re downloaded, it seems to work now. The unfortunate thing is that now I have to find and download ephemeris data that I previously had. I really like the application. I really wish it had an altitude imput though. I'm a pilot and sometimes the viewing angles are a little bit off. I think that's due to my height above the surface. Also, I can't get the X-37 to show a customized icon. I thought it used to h

I was hoping to use this app to track amateur and weather satellites. Matching the data from the app and verifying with my radio receiver I am yet to find accurate telemetry data. In addition the satellite database is lacking.

I love this app but lately I have seen satellites go by and they are not on my screen. Can anyone tell me what's going on?
