Thank you for bringing this tool to us. There’s a LOT of work that can be done on the go or on a machine like this. I can’t wait to keep using it. Right now the only thing that I wish I could do was customize the interface more. Just random thoughts: - Showing/hiding ANY toolbars - Maybe a toolbar system where you could drag/drop the windows around (I do see the view switch options which are helpful) - Option to hide the tab bar - Small icons/UI scale Again, I’m having so much fun in this an
I updated this app and it doesn’t working with iPad, please fix it quickly 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow - please don’t give up on this app. This app allows web development on iPadOS. You can easily code on the iPad with codespace, codesandbox etc, and this app is the closest desktop web inspector out there. Absolutely amazing work. Thank you.
All good for simple websites but this browser cannot handle React state changes. Not useful for debugging React.
Uninstalled and reinstalled works now
I find Inspect is great on iPad. On iPhone Xs it doesn’t work since when I try to paste or type in the url field the keyboard comes up and pushes the content up covering the url field. Super frustrating. If this is fixed, it’s a five star iOS app.
This app single-handedly unlocks bringing full frontend web development workflows to iPad. I use it constantly & am so grateful it exists!
The menu bar issues while keyboard popup.
Is there a way to enter multi line scripts in console?
Very much like browser development tools in approach. Anyone who has used Firebug or dev extensions on desktop browsers will feel right at home here. Even works on the iPhone, though much more usable on the iPad.
This is by far the best web dev app out there. The best part is emulating different screen sizes in the browser. Trust me. This is the app you want.
I’ve been waiting for this app for so long! Works great so far. Basically the closer to Chrome inspect it gets the better. Since iPad keyboard is not the greatest for dev, CSS auto suggestions would be appreciated.
The best app for inspecting web elements on iOS so far. Needs polish, but has been very useful. Currently in need of the ability to view :before and :after pseudo-elements.
This browser does exactly what I need it to do! 5 Stars! It would be nice if there was a ‘find’ search included in the source code window though.
I was hesitant to download this because I found a caching problem with most similar solutions. However, after doing some research, and seeing someone claim they could do all their web dev with this, I gave it a shot. No regrets, amazing app.
Since the release of iOS13 the webpage screenshot feature went from partially functional to completely broken. Id appreciate if this malfunction is resolved as it proves quite convenient.
Stopped working on iOS 13.3, Just hangs, can do anything when opening. *Update* had to delete app and reinstall working now on 13.3
Wonderful app, which brings features to the iPad Pro which allows you to carry it as the sole device rather than a Macbook. The app is very stable and the developers obviously listen to customer feedback. This is how it is DONE!!!
This is hands down the best app for inspecting pages you could ever ask for. It’s quite literally the only app that can truly find the source of SVG maps, JS errors, etc. Totally worth anything you spend times ten!!
Great app for web development on the go. iPad wont be a true laptop replacement but it comes close. This app has most of the stuff I need. Hope the developer will continue to add more features and support
This App is amazing and a big kudos to developers I don’t need to carry my laptop I can look for network logs, inspect a element modify the styles. Thank you much for making this App 😊😊😊
Pretty cool app. I like how it lets you Inspect Element on your iPad. But...could you make the UI nicer? If you could put the element console as a floating window that you could move anywhere on your screen, that would be cool.
Very unstable but I still rather use it. It is must if you are using an iPad for web development. I am sure it will only get better.
If you plan on doing any web development on your iPad, pick this up. Great developer tools. The ability to turn off the cache is essential and the console and inspection tools work wonderfully. Easy 5 stars.
Does what it says it does and does it quite well.
So the JavaScript errors are reported and that’s great... but the source code do not have a row number... so that defeated the purpose since you can not find the reported error.... amateurish at best....
The JS console is empty on iPad iOS 11, and no matter what I type there is no response. Works on iPhone. But even there when I tap elements tab the app freezes and I have to kill it. Maybe because my website is updating the dom every 16ms.
