KAYAK: Flights, Hotels & Cars App Reviews

I was in New Zealand in 2007 when I was introduced to Kayak. As the industries evolved Kayak has had some short comings and some remain across all the suppliers not really sorting out bad providers. I use Kayak often in my work and would not give 5 stars if I had found any other Travel Search engine that was better

You could specify whether you had carry-on and how much checked luggage and kayak would tell you the total price for all the available alternatives, including taxes and luggage. It was very easy to compare flights at different times and with different airlines. Now, the total price is wrong in some cases completely ignoring the cost of luggage. This is hands down the best travel app specially when it comes to flights… I told Kayak I’m ready for a commercial lol I don’t even need to be paid that’s how much I love this app and trust this app.. been using this app for over decade now trust when I say download it and use it!!! love you kayak thanks for the great adventures I get to create with my family and friends.

My favorite plane ticket app for searching flights. Very reliable with a nice and simple user interface. Seems unbiased when producing results. Easy to organize and filter results in many ways. I tend to then buy the tickets on the airlines’ websites 90% of the time from the app’s links. Only thing missing is allowing to save a user-defined search profile (sorting, filtering), instead of having to input/check-it every time a new search is performed.

Kayak always has the best deals and I’ll often compare them against other sites, but they always find the cheapest deals. And I’ve never had any problem with their customer service. Thanks kayak.

You guys need to do a better job and not post prices from scam sites like Oolo, Crystaltravel, edreams, etc. if you don't believe me just do a quick search of reviews from these sites. So disappointing when you think you found a deal and it's one of these bait and switch sites😞

We really like traveling as much as we can, and KAYAK has been the best source of information wherever we go - destination info, airline details (specially terminal numbers), reservation plans, and so on… it has always delivered, and we couldn’t be happier (unless they plan the trip for us). We have used different apps, and also paid subscriptions, and still they fall short of what KAYAK offers. This is a must for anyone traveling near and far.

Kayak has very good options to choose flights they find the best and cheapest ones and put it on the side for you getting this app will be the best for you if your going on a vacation or something like that

When you want to go somewhere and want to decide based on price for a given time period, the respective map view allows one to so quickly explore and navigate options without having to reset/lose filters

I use this app to give me an idea of what airline websites I should look at to find the best deals and best flights. I like how there are a lot of filtering options in terms of dates and times of departure and landing, the number of stops, the number of bags, etc. it is also helpful when they give advice on whether or not to buy now or wait to buy the flight, although I’m not sure if the Google website might be better at that. Also great for rental cars

Kayak is a terrific app, you can find lovely deals and cheaper flights, I have 4 years using it because is amazing!!! Amazing app! Hardly recommend it!

Kayak has the most easy interface. Always loved them finally reviewing 5 stars bc I booked my first trip with their explore tab to find a cheap city 😍

I live in Europe. Use the explore option often for exact dates constantly. And most the number flights I see are not true to price shown. One you click a price and it pulls up actual flight for that time. I hardly ever see the price that was initially listed. Most times many dollars to hundred of dollars difference.

Would be more useful if we could use to purchase train and bus tickets, especially train tickets.

The explore feature is amazing. This app allowed me to go to Spain and many other places which changed me for the best as a person - thank you so much 🧡

My favorite app ever

Excellent, wonderful and truly comprehensive site, I have benefited a lot from it over the past nine years to know the conditions and controls that must be adhered to when booking plane tickets, as well as for hotels and car rental and the prices. All thanks and appreciation to the crew on this site and I highly recommend using it before thinking about any trip and hotels to see the best offers.

In my personal opinion this beats the booking app I have used KAYAK for car rentals hotels and flights…. I’m a big time traveler and I use all the apps but kayak is always seems to be their prices… he was just at if you want the best deals

Under appreciated app. Always keeps me updated

I have price drop notification setup for a specific hotel stay. I get notified everyday showing a ridiculously low price for the stay I selected (like $75/night). However, when I click on the link it goes back to the website which shows the regular rate ($500/night). I get an email like this everyday now for over a week. I know that there is no way this hotel would ever offer a rate this low but it is still very frustrating.

I've used Kayak for many years. I've also tried many other travel apps but Kayak remains my favorite go to app. I load/create all my trips on Kayak and share with my family so easy to do.

TripIt imports effortlessly what Kayak completely misses.

App allows one email confirmations to a special email from one listed in profile. I did that and eventually get the change to my trip. But I also get stuff I don’t send for a location I have not booked anything for.
