I have been using TextExpander snippets for the sites I search often but this is so much less cognitive load. w for wikipedia, boom, done! I've set up a few more on my own, and it does take a bit of sleuthing to figure out the format for the search query for some sites (is it /?s or /?search) but the starter point examples really help. If a site has a search field, just enter something there and then inspect the URL to which you're driven to find the appropriate search string. Fantastic exte

simple and useful Safari tool.

Love the simple design and the iCloud sync. This is my permanent solution to custom search.

This clever tool makes browsing with Safari so much more efficient. What a gem!!! Pro Tip: If you have a Mac, install this Safari extension there too. Configuration of new Keyword/URL combinations is a little easier on the Mac. Since they sync via iCloud, all will be available on all of your Apple devices.

This functionality was one of the few things keeping me from using Safari… and this seems to just, work!

Solves an annoying problem for me. Now I can search a specific site by typing the query and the search character and hitting command+B right from Spotlight. Awesome! Thanks!

This is clearly a missing feature in Safari! Glad this plug-in addresses it! The only thing that would make this better is if it had automating between my devices!

I resell on ebay and being able to set up short cuts to search for active and sold listings with a short cut is a life saver on Mac. THANK YOU!!!!!

Love this extension! And it works across Mac, iPhone, and iPad, so create a custom search and it is available anywhere. Been using keywords in Firefox for years, so happy to have this in Safari!

I am surprised not more people are using it.....I use it every day to save time searching for things on the internet.
