11 Positive User Reviews for Klara – Patient communication

Great idea - Horrible Login

The thought behind this app is great. The issue is the logging in. You should be able to login with faceID or a pin. To have to receive text and verify your age each time is just too much. Please fix it.

I like it, but need to change the functionality

I’m required to log in almost every time by entering my phone number and putting in a code frequently as I open the app which is super annoying. Gets very tedious and completely unnecessary. Besides that the app is good and has a simple ui

New reviews

I’m reading a lot of reviews, but they are from 1 yr. To 5yrs old.? I’d like to see all the recent reviews because it’s been easy to use so far, except my docts office didnt specify they actuall use Klara.? I’ll check on Monday morning to be positive. Texting back and forth has been seem less, and easier for me to remember the date of appt.s now. Only dermatologist uses it so far. No issues have happened as I’ve read about w/others. Hope it continues.

Great except for having to re-login

I really like the app—very convenient to text with the doctor. Would be 5 stars except the only issue is if I set the phone down for even a couple minutes I have to log back in (text code to me and everything), and it does this even if I’ve checked “remember this device for 30 days.” In effect, if I’m trying to text the doctor and I get interrupted, I have to start completely over. That feels more like a bug than a feature, no?

7 Negative User Reviews for Klara – Patient communication

Gross challenge to resolve billing error

Assumption of management is every patient is sitting at phone available to get there delayed return call all the time and toalljy computer savvy. It’s rather difficult to text an explanation for what was their actually being a $146.overbilling for a string of office and out patient hospital visits and correlate required copayments to MD at times of visits. Hardly patient friendly professional service evidencing the business of medical practice prevails! Maybe Seniors will survive with AI. Fina

New version is objectively worse

As a communication system with my doctor, I really liked it, but since the most recent update, logging in has become more annoying. In spite of the ‘remember me for 30 days’ option listed under the email code request (which is a secondary security measure), the system will ask at random. It wouldn’t bother me if it was just guaranteed that every time I would have to go through a two step login, but it’s irritating that the system seemed to work as intended prior to the update and now does not.

Doesn’t Remember Device

My main complaint with this app is that it never remembers my device even though I input my date of birth and click remember. So every time I enter the app I have to enter my phone number, the code, and then open my email to enter another code, then verify my date of birth. SUPER frustrating.

Logging in is weird

Every time I log in it takes like 3 tries. Because on the second try it says I’m already logged in and that’s it… so then I have to jump through the hoops of verifying my phone number and email for a third time. I’m not sure what’s happening but it’s annoying.

No notifications????

You can only get notifications through a text message, not an actual phone notification.. is this 2002 lol

Please just use local two-factor

The most infuriating thing about this app is that it constantly sends you new SMS codes to validate your login. There is no option for alternative two-factor or FaceId. If my doctor’s office responds to a message I get to tell the app I’m a patient, which office I’m trying to see a message for, and confirm with an SMS code. Every. Single. Time.

Completely failed for Dr. meeting

For my appointment, I open klara at the correct time. The doctor could not see me or hear me, even though I gave Klara permission to access my microphone and camera. I was literally yelling and also typing messages in the box, but he was seeing and hearing absolutely nothing, so he disconnected. It turns out the klara allowed him to create a separate instance, and he was sitting there, and I was in the first instance, but Klara did not make the connection or tell him that I was in that first ins
