Amazing game! Incredible level designs, fun, rewarding retro style RPG.
If you played the classic Dungeon Master on an Atari ST or Commodore Amiga then you will love this and be right at home. This is essentially the exact same game type. If, however, you are looking for a modern first person RPG, or aren’t really into retro gaming, then there’s a chance you will hate this game. The reviews here all seem to mostly be in those two camps. Dungeon Master was revolutionary for its time and this brings back those good feels. I’m stoked a company is doing this kind of t
A classic but sadly very hard to play on modern phones with the small screen space. Doesn’t seem to be any chance of an update at this point.
Great game needs controller support.
A fairly hardcore “blobber” rpg dungeon crawler. The monsters are scary, the puzzles are puzzling, and many of the magical artifacts feel like artifacts, both being harder to obtain and giving you an advantage over more mundane items that are easy to acquire. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for on the appstore, and I hope there is another similar game on here.
This game is great for those who love to be surprised by every turn and want to use their brain. I highly suggest it!
Awesome game, just like the old snes dungeon masters. Please put legends of Grimrock 2 in app form soon.
Best dungeon crawler game in the App Store is this one. I only wish they would have legend of Grimrock 2 available in the App Store as well almost human is an awesome game developer
This is still the best iPad game as of 2022. Just wish they would release the sequel. I love old RPGs, and this is actually superior to my beloved Eye of the Beholder series I played in the 90s.
Pretty much said it in the title! Old style grid based dungeon crawl perfect for this old fella
I played this game on pc. I was super excited to see it on IOS. It plays amazing, takes me back to my childhood playing PnP games. I wish they would release the follow up games as well.
Really fun simple concept but it becomes very challenging around lvl 5. Extremely enjoyable!
If you like old school style RPG's like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Avadon, Avernum, Ember and Dungeons of Chaos on iOS, then this game is for you.
Wow, what an amazing game. Brings back the old school challenge with beautiful and moody graphics. Great job. The best dungeon crawler by far on iOS.
This game is ok until you realize your doing the exact same boring thing over and over. That and all 4 of your guys must be riding on each other's shoulders.
Hard puzzles though. Doesn't ask for more money. Good!
Loved it! It reminded me of an old Sega Genesis Dungeons & Dragons game I loved growing up.
A great throwback to older games with a modern twist. Love the puzzles that are laced through the gameplay.
Great old school dungeon crawl. Could use better balance in character options, as there are some serious ways to screw up your character but generally super fun and engaging.
If you want a challenging RPG full of strategy, puzzles and fantastic graphics -- this is for you.
Finally got around to buying and playing thanks to my new tablet. Fabulous game. Looks awesome on the iPad.
True RPGs are incredibly rare on the App Store. This is one of them.
Love the game! I recommend to play it on the hard level of difficulty. Amazing puzzles, interesting fights.
Great game. ETA part 2 for iOS? Please? 😁
Outstanding game. Thank you for transcending the normal experience of iOS gaming. Please release LOG2!
Great job! I’ve played LoG 1 & 2non Mac for a few years. Solid port to iOS. And yes, the game is challenging.
Challenging puzzles and battles. All around awesomeness for any lover of RPGs. Please make more...........
Play for 2h and I love it . I’m in lvl 2 (I spend a little time for my party creation )and so far it is worth it
This one is the one all others are compared to. I kid you not, play this for a while and you’ll want more. Still love this and play it years after release.
I had originally owned this for PC, but after playing it on my IPhone/IPad the game was so much more enjoyable for me; this game is perfect with a touch screen. I hope they eventually port the sequel onto IOS or the Nintendo Switch.
Well this is not a pay to win mindless mobile game. This is a port of an insanely good pc dungeon crawler. Graphics are rich, no lag, difficult and challenging. Not for the casual gamer, but a ton of fun. Best dungeon crawler I could find.
Absolutely a dream of a rpg dungeon crawler.
Good overall, glitchy on IOS. Playing on IPhone 8+, and Tomes found in game, do not have any effect on party members!
It is better a lot of dugón games I, have played

Third review…. Almost a good job … I’m not sure how fun it is to look up on the internet every other room’s puzzle or where to go and what to do… I made it to level five.. besides the utterly dark landscape, having to look up every step of the way… the monsters all of a sudden become impossible to beat, give me a break! A dungeon crawler should be fun, not this silly nonsense…
Legend if Grimrock takes inspiration from classic dungeon crawlers like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder. The game looks and sounds great, but the gameplay ends up being frustrating, especially on iPad. Instead of innovating on these older games, Grimrock keeps the hectic real-time combat of its predecessors. Combat soon becomes a move-hit-move-hit dance routine whenever you encounter an enemy. The over reliance on timed puzzles also exposes the frustration with controls - it’s just plain
