Litchi for DJI Drones App Reviews

Ii have been using letchi to fly my Mavic Pro, it’s been great!

I cannot believe that it took me a year of owning my drone to discover this app. Using the waypoint feature of the DJI go app is bananas for what I do. I need to plan a course out in advance and then run it. Unfortunately, the Litchi app Requires the drone to be within range of the transmitter for gimbal settings to work. Found out the hard way. I am running this on a ranch and at times the drone is out of range of the transmitter was ignoring my gimbal settings. Grrr.

Using the new Litchi Hub beta, for creating/managing waypoint missions, then simulating them in Google Earth, is really nice. This is a great improvement. I flew a 95 foot mission, on our neighborhood’s private road, with the camera pointing down, then at a POI, and the Google Earth SIM matched the actual drone video quite accurately.

i can’t use the Follow mode or the track Mode….is there any update version?

I have a Spark and Phantom 4 Adv. I’m literally waiting to buy a mini 3 pro, but will not until DJI releases the sdk to Litchi. I trust this software as I have yet to experience any issues whatsoever. It just has always worked. I highly recommend.

I recently received a Mavic Mini Gen 1 from my friend and saw that the the DJIFLY app did not support waypoints or follow me mode or tracking or orbit etc... so I researched and found this Litchi app and it supports all these modes and does it with aplomb! Just remember to turn on the GPS function for this app in settings > privacy > Location services > Litchi, enable then you're good to fly all the modes. Also make sure the OEM DJI apl is turned off or it may interfere with the signal while usi

Litchi is a great app in the sense of it does what it’s supposed to do, but, the tracking is one of the things that almost all litchi users got the app for; and it needs lots of working on. When I try to track our rzr utv while out in the canyons the tracking square gets bigger and bigger and freaks out when it cant find what it’s supposed to be tracking. Fox the square getting bigger. It’s annoying and there’s literally no reason for it to do that.

Was apprehensive at first but now get used to the app there are lots of options that I need to try
