Meridian 157: Chapter 2 App Reviews

This has been my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. I played all four chapters and I plan on playing through them all again real soon. Worth every penny. Would’ve paid more to be honest, it’s just so good. Challenging but not impossible and the art is stunning. Can’t wait for Aurora Hills!

This was a fun puzzle adventure game. Easy to follow and very unusual puzzles to solve.

Great game with loving attention to detail. Most puzzles are pretty straightforward, some really made me think, and a few I found awesomely hard and had to consult a walkthrough for help, but all were logical and well crafted. One thing I especially appreciate about this game is the storyline and atmosphere. They did a great job on this. It brings me back to my Myst days. Highly recommend.

I’ve really enjoyed all the games in this series. Each is fully stand alone but I recommend starting with the Prologue — especially since it’s free, so you can try it before you buy it — and then working your way through the chapters. Nothing about this third installment (after Prologue & Ch. 1) really wowed me, but there was very little to criticize. Playing on Hard mode, I never got stuck except for a couple of times when the correct place I needed to tap onscreen wasn’t clear. Smooth interface and solid visuals. Worth the price.

The only game that I’ve actually thought was worth paying for. The puzzles are challenging and the story is mysterious and interesting graphics are great as well. I also like the dialogue. I tapped on an item and instead of just not working, the text said, “Um, No.” lol great fun and getting Chapter 3!

I’m just sad that it’s over…this game has consumed my life the last few days. As I mentioned on other reviews: love the background music, it’s relaxing & eerie to go with the setting, the whole thing has a haunted, spooky feel and the puzzles are engaging. Awesome work to the devs!

Please make more games like Meridian. I replayed each chapter including the prologue too many times.

I love games where it’s mysterious, trying to get to the next place in the game. Figuring out what needs to be done in order to solve the puzzle. Not real hard but hard enough. All puzzles make sense.

It’s a fun game, but it doesn’t take long to go through it all. I wish they would just charge you once for all three chapters. It’s kind of annoying, paying for each chapter. The storyline is good, but some of the puzzles are hard to understand.

Love this game so much

This game is fun, but there’s a bug that makes it so the red desk doesn’t open when you use the key on it, which makes the game unbeatable. I don’t know a better way to alert the developer. Please fix it, I want to play the rest of the game!

I can’t get the red drawer to open. I use the key, the key disappears, but nothing opens. The hint says to take something out of the drawer, which is impossible, as the drawer won’t open. I have the latest updates to the game and my iPhone. I restarted the game and played to the same place, only to get stopped again. Please help!

Some times it’s hard to know what room your In or where the clues are telling you where to go.

This game is well done. I really like the mysterious atmosphere, the subtlety of the creepiness without it trying to be a horror game. The creepy factor is tasteful and just the way I like. It’s a relaxing puzzle game, but it still has the creepy mysterious environment and mood well done. There’s adventure and exploration. Beautiful environment. I’ve played through all three chapters now, and I can easily say that this is hands down the best escape room app I’ve ever played. The graphics and music are beautiful, the storyline is really interesting, and the puzzles are the perfect balance between challenging and intuitive. Love that you can play with or without hints. Worth every penny and more, and I hope the developer comes out with more. Wonderful game!!!

Love this series, love the graphics, interesting story, and the actions are realistic where most games are not. There are no medallions or amulets in these games, thank goodness. My only issue with these games is that there are a few puzzles which I don’t understand even after looking up the answer. I really don’t get a few of these. It’s frustrating.

It’s a fun Myst clone. Some of the puzzles don’t have hints though and you are only given the option to skip them. I would have liked to see the solution.

I couldn’t stop playing and it took me a while to get the hang of it. This was a great game and I hope you have more coming.

This game mechanics are finicky and the puzzles don’t make sense most of time. They want you to solve things their way.. just a meh experience. glad i got through it
