This is my favorite metronome and I use it for everything! It can function as a basic metronome, but under the hood it has amazing features. I have searched through tons of metronomes and this one is by far the best. My particular use cases are: * Gap click exercises * tempo increases after a certain number of bars * in depth metronome sequencer * saving metronome settings There are so many more great features. Another thing I love about the metronome is that the interface can be very simple

It is a great all-arounder. There are times when I want to learn or explore something weird and/or tricky, so I set it up in Metronomics to listen & play along. No other app has taught me more about cool new rhythms than this one!

This metronome has some many options I haven’t been able to change the preset cowbell to a click. So I emailed the people and they got back to me very quickly. Here is their response : “On the Settings screen, you can access the settings for the downbeat. There is also an option to show the downbeat on the main screen like the other subdivisions.”

This metronome app does pretty much everything I want it to do. I can create various rhythms, control volumes and subdivisions, create playlists with saved metronomes, etc. The biggest headache is the saved metronome functionality. While I can create a folder, I can’t rename the folder. And if I want to reorganize custom metronomes in folders, I need to basically create a new folder, then open up each individual custom metronome, re-save into the new folder, then delete the old folder. I love this app. It makes practicing more fun. It has a beautiful and easy to learn user interface. I have tried many metronomes and this is the best one, period. It has made me a better player.

This is a must have tool for musicians of any skill level. There are so many options and customizable settings to help work on your time. Great job!!!

This is a versatile and powerful app. There are features that expand on simple metronome usage such as meter, audible/inaudible bars, tempo alteration (ramping). Add to that randomized cross rhythms, rhythm layering, odd meters, and a variety of samples, and you'll have enough tools to practice rhythm from any perspective. Highly recommended.

This metronome is great! It's wonderful for figuring out polyrhythms, training your sense of time, and much more! I use it every time I practice. Definitely buy this metronome; it's worth it.

Been meaning to review this forever. Finally did so when I got an Apple Watch and, lo and behold, a Metronomics app for the watch shows up! The developer really cares about his apps, and he’s a musician! Best metronome in the App Store.

The app have been improving with a lot of option whoever the 6/8 is not working I can not set the metronome to count 6 counts or doing in two count. That time is not working properly

UPDATE: Kudos to Metronomics team, they fixed the problem as fast as Coltrane playing Giant Steps!! —————//-////// I’m on a 5S with ios 12.4.1, and after updating the app, it just stopped working. The app opens up regularly yet when I tap on start nothing happens, no click. Demanding a fix to this.

The Metronomics IOS app lets me take the functionality of Metronomics with me wherever I go. Before getting this app I had no idea that making complex rhythms could be this easy and efficient. And once they are constructed, I can practice them as much as I wish. This app has the functionality of a metronome but it is so much more than that. I highly recommend this to anyone in any stage of their musical journey.

This metronome can truly do just about anything you want (including staying out of your way and just being a nice, solid, simple metronome). And, if you're more adventurous, you can go deep and sequence wild and satisfying rhythmic interactions. I love this (and I've only scratched the surface). Combine that with a developer who is wholly invested in making this the best it can be. A no brainer (PS.. go Pro. so affordable and so worth it)

Use it for: Drum Practice. Favorite Features: Custom subdivisons to place the accent anywhere you need to hear it. That earned the 5 stars. The wheel and grid tabs are very helpfull. Least Favorite Feature: Most of the sounds are unpleasent and distracting. GUI Needs: Where is the overall volume control? Display the title of the metronome that is currently playing. Allow tempo changes from the grid and wheel tabs. Tempo change hot-key
