Microsoft Solitaire Collection App Reviews

I was very disappointed when I opened my game today to a new format. I had just completed a survey that was something I normally don’t do and find that the game is completely changed. I am a premium player who has played for years and if this is the way it is going to stay I will find another game. I am sorry to say there was nothing wrong with the game…if it is not broke don’t fix it!!! If there is a way to go back to the other format let me know, otherwise I will be leaving a game I loved.

Display battery charge

Ads used to be 10 seconds. Now they are 30 seconds or longer. It is really maddening. Still fun play when you can finally get to the game.

There are so many awesome games in this collection. Some requiring more skill than others but anyone can find games that provide challenges and entertainment. They are very well done and don't have any "bugs" or weird behaviors which is highly appreciated.

I enjoy playing this App!

I really like the games and all of the versions What I do not enjoy are all of the advertisements. There are just too many. A long time ago you could pay one fee for no ads. I paid that but now you want a monthly fee. Not everyone can afford the fees especially those on social security and they are the ones that play on the app more than anyone else.

I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to play a game of Spider for well over an hour, only to accidentally hit the “Undo All” button which is next to the “Undo” button. This was a recent change and it has truly messed up what had been a great app. PLEASE move the button!

what can i say, i love solitaire and i love all the different modes (except for free cell… but that’s personal)! i do wish there were some new star club collections as i’ve completed most of the current ones and enjoy the challenges! also know that if you buy the premium subscription in the app, it doesn’t also apply to your microsoft account over pc /: but i can live w only playing on my phone lol. great app if u love ur solo card games !! (:

I am a 85 year old free cell addict!

This is the gold standard of solitaire applications for iOS. However, we have to address the design flaw here. The swipe up is not easily toggled like with any other apps and, to make matter worst, the “undo all moves” button is right where your thumb instinctively goes for the swipe up. Yes, I just undid an entire expert level board and came here to write this.

I am a 74 year old 100% disabled veteran who spends a good amount of time on my phone playing games. I had reached level 1756 in Klondike and suddenly in the middle of an ad my screen went black and froze causing me to have to delete the app and reload it and start from scratch. I had only gotten back to about 156 levels when it happened again. So now I’m back at zero again. Very freaking frustrating!

The free cell expert is way too hard I can get the expert on all games except free cell It almost impossible. Sometimes a little too hard especially free cell expert

Ever since I did not consent to their 564 affiliates using my information, I have had continuous connection issues and am not able to play the daily event. I can play the daily games, but can not participate in the event. Message tells me that Event Server can’t be accessed at this time and try again later. Very frustrating since I paid to be a “premium” user.

Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company, but yet they cannot give you a card playing app without nickel and dime ads to interrupt gameplay. Do they not have enough money monopolizing the PC market, that they have to force you to “upgrade” to avoid the thirty minute long commercials that interrupt your gameplay? Find another option.
