Sound quality is exceptional as you would expect from Moog. Can be a bit difficult navigating through the modules at times, but that is expected on any modular plugin.

Starting point for all my custom sounds in songs. This synth was the GOAT, and the app lives up to the rep of its hardware predecessor and its company

"How do I zoom out? I'd like to seen the whole panel, not just a tiny portion. Too much scrolling around to get anything done. Can I get my money back if this feature is not available?”

This is such an intuitive synth to use. I use VCV rack and a real modular synth but both are almost too expansive in terms of customization. This lets me focus on the patch and not worry about configuration or workflow. I’m also very excited to hook it up to my daw and make some tracks using this system alone ! The sounds are incredible and the fidelity is outstanding

I can’t believe that the Moog company is so generous to give us this amazing synth for such a low price. You might even think that they don’t want to make any money.

I have been using this for about two and a half months now. I have all of the virtual Moog Apps now. Was not planning on this one, but I seem to love this one the most so far and I was afraid of the modular thing for a while, but this has been a fun learning experience for me. It may cause me to actually buy a semi modular synth in the future. Thanks. Brilliantly executed.

The way it works for the users will always be incredible! Technology increases with time. Sometimes love come in small packs!

Literally the best

Putting 5 stars just so my review gets read, I literally just bought and downloaded this and haven’t been able to get the app to load or open once. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same issues are happening. My computer is fast and reliable, fully compatible, and having no other issues. I don’t understand why I can’t get this app to open. I was really excited, but now it just feels like a waste of money….

Having played with/programmed many dozens (hundreds?) of synths in the past 45 years, I can honestly say: This sounds astonishingly like the Moog modules I’ve played with in various systems. Many of the presets are fantastic, IMO… and offer a broad range of inspiring “starting points”, as well as concepts to learn from. AAA class, from Moog/and their programmers!

What are you waiting for? Buy this now! If you make music, even for fun it’s the best in class. This and animoog are the best synthesizers. Plus if you own a Mac desktop m chip it works on both devices. Endless sounds and it has very analog warm sounds. I personally like it to later my soundtracks when I’m using guitar this fits perfectly. Thank you moog I’ve got enough gear otherwise I’d buy one of these for real life. No need to now though this sounds just as good! Incredible piece of engineer

I’m shopping for a real analog Eurorack synth and I’m highly unlearned. This app lets me learn a lot for the price of a few real patch cords. An incredible bargain and a lot of fun, this will keep me busy and help study up for buying a hardware modular synth. Super cools Moog sounds and process to go, I’ll use the heck out of it!!

I'm a 72 year old synthesist. Oh. My. Goodness. This is, first, an amazing effort by all Electronic Music disciplines to create a finely detailed WORKING instrument. An instrument that I played and performed with the original version on stage during those crazy Moog '70's gigs. Second, it's all here! All the CV modules! It's surreal! The voicing is just so sweet...and that is just playing it solo for, well, hours! I'm joyful that, after 50 years I can experience this Model 15 but also the Model

The sounds are great. It’s way to much of a hassle to patch though. Even controlling parameters is arduous on this graphic interface . I will enjoy it for its presets but can never see myself programming this thing. The point of the original is to have everything visible and immediately accessible to you. That is not the case with this app and perhaps can’t be. Scrolling and scrolling while trying to hold a patch cable is a lot.. So as long as you go into this with lower expectations, I th

It would be really nice to have the ability to control 2 knobs at the same time but the whole modular synth in general is amazing and I’ve learned a lot off it.

Bought this as part of the 2 plug-in bundle. I'm... *guessing* this is what the original sounded like, but still very confused as to how to do much of anything with it. I never had to deal with the tangle of cables the original required (my first synth was a used Yamaha SY-1).

If you are starting out with synthesis programming, be sure to watch the tutoriala, very well done. As a plugin, I can't change the size and find it hard to work with as the print on the synth is too small and a bit out of focus. However, I am able to run it as a standalone external synth with Ableton and it works just fine, scalable size and clear focus. I have a ton of software synths available and this and Animoog Z are my favorites, by far.

With it being nearly identical in sound to it’s analog counterpart, it makes this a game changer. Moog did it again.

If you want to learn modular without breaking the bank, this is the app for you. The tutorials teach you how all the modules work and how to patch them, there are presets you can play around with, and this thing sounds nuts. 10/10

Can’t change glide parameters in AUM

Come for the history, sit down and listen to the story, then prepare to not spend your college fund on a hardware version of these synths. Ok, thats a little exagerated. BUy these Moog sound Apps. Animoog is my favorite by far, but these are a close second. So well done. So complex. Intimidating.... wait, is this a good thing? We'd all prefer knobs and switches, but this will work well with any number of controllers out there. Arturia comes to mind. And they won't go out of tune.

Update for Model D app from 5d ago says fixed an issue with Logic Pro when standalone app hasn't been run. Bought the bundle, launched both standalone apps, launched Logic Pro, and STILL get an error saying "unable to load" on both plug-ins? Did anyone bother testing these before release?

It can be a bit fiddly to use but there are a lot of sounds to explore.

I own 4 moog synths and love them all. This app is a amazing addition to the moog collection ! Great for learning to patch and for just plain fun. And with the MacOS version, you can download a app from moog to integrate with Abelton or Garage Band. Good stuff. Worth every penny.

Moog instruments were investments in hand-made, top quality slightly innovative but always great sounding stuff. "Employee Owned" was something I proudly bought into. I have met with the employees and they were some of the nicest people you could imagine. It sounds GREAT! However it crashes constantly with Ableton Live as a VST. Can't use for more than maybe 5 minutes before you have to restart it.
