16 Positive User Reviews for NJ TRANSIT Mobile App
Time Lock-out
The app checks local (ie. phone) time vs current time in the Eastern zone. A mismatch causes an error condition making ticket purchase impossible. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! I should be able to buy my ticket for tomorrow even if I’m currently in Dallas.
Navigating
This app is so confusing it could be a lot easier to access
Good app but UX needs to be better
I can get all the NJTRANSIT travel options and buy tickets using the app. That’s great. But some of menus get so nested that you get lost. I was looking at bus options and couldn’t find a button to buy tickets. Finally figured out I had to go back one menu item a time to get to the main menu where I see Buy Tickets.
Hey, put a buy ticket menu item on the navigation bar at the button and also add a button on the MyTickets page. Make it easy for folks to spend money and not have to struggle to fi
Works OK but..
It’d be fantastic if you could suppress the Apple Wallet pop up while a ticket’s QR code is displayed on the phone screen, so I can actually scan my ticket on the bus without being asked to use my bank card.
This temporary Wallet Suppression feature is explained on Apple’s Developer website, it’d be great to see it implemented appropriately.
Less headaches
Easier to use
Couldn't be easier to use.
So easy and convenient to navigate and use.
Only good when it works
I am logged out EVERY TIME I exit the application. To log back in, I have to do the Face ID verification at least THREE TIMES. Please fix this bug.
Confusing layout
The utility of the app is perfect, but the UX could use a redesign. The layout of the app is confusing between the schedule/purchase screens. They could at least be unified somewhat so that from the schedule screen you are able to directly link to the purchase screen without needing to go back to the main screen.
Upcoming fair increase
Engage in BETTER ON TIME service!!!!
Route maps and timetables lack detail and readability for limited access users.
Find a way to make these things live online as tables, rather than PDFs make them interactive – – can users create an itinerary and have it notify through iOS? If so, then I haven’t found the way to do it.
Very Convenient and User-Friendly
Well done! Very convenient and easy to use. It saves time, provides different payment methods
Muy buena
Aunque haces no quiero funcionar y dice que no esta conectado al internet, pero en lo general muy buena, aún no se buscar los horarios de los bus ni los mapas
4 Negative User Reviews for NJ TRANSIT Mobile App
Timing
Last few months the light rail schedule isn’t the same. If I’m going on the west side train it says a certain time but when I arrive it’s tonnelle ave train coming instead so I’m
Left to wait up to 45 minutes minute waiting for the train.
Couldn’t use Rider Tools
Entering an address in the Address field (for “Travel to” destination) was not possible. The keyboard pops up and covers the “Done” button. The text box is way too large also. App needs broader QA to include smaller screens.
So many bugs
New Jersey takes taxes to make this app, correct? Hire a mobile dev who knows how to build an app. The schedules work though.
