Great teaching tool, reasonably priced!
Can’t say enough good about this. I tune in straight fourths, and it supports that. I’ve tried lots of chord apps, and love this one. Thanks to the developer(s)!
Fair price, no data collection, mine to keep forever with a single payment… wow I can’t believe it! Did I mention the app is very good too?
Very useful and intuitive app! I’m not aware of any other like it. It’s great that alternate tunings were added to the chord analyzer feature. It would be REALLY useful if custom tunings were also available on the chord finder page. If this feature is added I’ll change my rating to six stars ;)
If you want to improve your playing, this Oolimo app is a fundamental tool. If you have a guitar and fingers, the next essential thing you’ll want is this app. Oolimo on YouTube also has great guitar teaching content unlike anything else I’ve seen. Thanks to you Oliver Mochmann not only for this priceless app but for everything you do on YouTube and on the internet to help your fellow guitarist. Brovo!
I found this app while looking for a way to know what chord I actually was playing. I began playing about two years ago, on and off, so really not good. But I love playing and began like composing I guess you could call it. Now by having this app I can actually write down my notes! It helps a lot to understand music. This app has amazing features and I recommend it to anyone who play the guitar!
Long time musician and music theory nerd - like many of you no doubt——-I have tried countless apps like this and it has replaced all my other ones. The Analyzer is maybe my fav tool. I also use the website version in my studio. I would love it to evolve into more of a harmonic/progression/substitution/modulator/builder/recommender (yes, I am asking a lot) for which I would happily pay more.
I am a new user of Oolimo. This has been unbelievably helpful in finding chords at the positions of my melody. This app makes it possible for me to build my chord vocabulary as I work. 50 stars!
As a tool for learning the music theory behind guitar tabs, this is exactly what I was looking for. Wanna know what that weird chord you’re playing is? This all will tell you.
This app is really well done and does exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for making this!
I’ve been playing guitar for close to 50 years. One of the frustrating things about other chord sources is they misname the chords (algorithms) or don’t show the most common jazz fingerings. This app gets it right.
agree with other reviews, play button doesn’t work on iPhone. If there is an update with fixed sound I’d say 5 stars.
I just get a green square. And nothing else. How can I fix this?
I can’t put into words how great this is. Very well made and very helpful
The app is great for many of the simpler and more complex chords used in many types of music. Oliver, thank you for your thoughtful response and the education.
This may be the best $2.99 I have ever spent! Fantastic.
Great app. Best app for looking up chords and learning new ones. Only recommendation is that more chords are added to the “Chord Finder”. It would also be awesome if a piano version was made!!
This app looks great and is very informative. It is extremely useful, highly recommend it.
