The single biggest annoyance is that I can’t scroll through a single consolidated “news feed” for both of my daughters, and instead have to switch between their middle school and elementary school. If Facebook can combine everything into a single feed, so can you. Overall the app feels more like someone’s senior design project than something a professional software development company produced.
Will not clear notifications after they have been seen.
Love it, keeps me informed on what’s going on in school activities and events!
Unfortunately, the school-to-home communication chain breaks down when it goes through my 15 year old son. Having an app at my fingertips where I can check messages and communicate directly with his teachers has been a game changer!!!
When we get an alert that requires a parent to write a response note, the red notification does not go away for the parent who did not write the note. It persists until some random time where it will go away. The parent who didn’t write the note also can’t open the note to see the response to clear the alert and closing the app and reopening also does nothing. More annoying than anything else
It is very good to tell the kids what they are doing this week.
Thank you so much for everything i appreciate every single communication
Excellent school district
Super happy with this app! Makes communication between parents and teachers a breeze. Get updates fast and track my daughter's progress easily. Practical, clear, and efficient! 👏 Kudos to the team 💕
We are not able to see the student name when we receive a message from a parent.
This app make everything we need for school it’s so good and amazing it’s the best Thank you so much ParentSquare
Update 13 Sept: The team helped me figure this out. My husband and I have a shared account but are logging in with different emails. We share the same password due to this, so when one reset the password the other one lost access. Updated my review from 1 to 4. Original review: Since the last update (mid August 2024) the app won’t remember my password or accept my Face ID. I’ve reset my password 3 times in the past 2 days to be able to continue to have access to the messages coming from my scho
App runs smooth and I’m able to keep up with my kids schools and what’s happening!!!
Takes. Very long time to get a reply back as they have tons of messages to go through not ideal when something important is necessary like grade corrections. Not the best truly liked power school much better
I’ve got 5 kids in 3 different schools. Can’t figure out still how to connect to more than one school. So I can’t get notifications from the other teachers. I’m sure there’s a way somehow? Searched and still trying to find it out. Love the idea of a whole district being on one app though instead of every teacher/school on a different one and for that one child’s school I’m hooked up to, that’s great. Please fix this, ParentSquare!
I’ve been using this app for just over a year, and I have had a great time using it to stay on top of events going on at school. My son always tells me when a notification dings and he knows what it’s for. Using parent square keeps me updated with everything, as the interface and platform are easy to use and navigate.
If a teacher posted something and we’re trying to print it at home, the share button does not work. Please fix.
Haven’t had any issues so far and it’s great to have that connection to teachers and school as opposed to how we grew up with paper flyers going home as a form of communication.
I get a lot of information but the people sending the information are not very good. So that needs to improve; however it has direct email and messaging systems which are nice.
I am glad they started this. I hope they continue.
I LOVE this app! It is the best App my son’s school has used to communicate!!
This app should have how to videos.
Excellent resource for parents to use to communicate with teachers and be informed on school events/issues/concerns!
Keeps parents well informed.
Is a easy way to comunícate with the teachers. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Not sure if this is an app or individual school thing. But I really wish there was some way to filter notifications. I tried the setting where it combines the notifications together at the end of the day, and ended up missing some really important, time sensitive announcements about my kid’s bus, among other things. But the only other option is to get ALL notifications. And I don’t care about the sports teams or the grade levels that my kid is not currently in. So I just have to deal with gettin
I wish there was an options for parents to input comments or questions and the safety alerts parents need updates
I get informed of what’s going on in my kids’ school…reminders of upcoming events, important notifications; I can sign permission slips from this app and communicate with my kids’ teachers. It’s easy to navigate. A+
The app glitches are just terrible.
Useful tool for keeping me informed on what’s going on at my daughter’s school
This a great source of information and communication channel between the school and the parents. I can count on ParentSqare to find out about the latest events, notifications and best of all I can count on my son’s teachers to help me or keep me updated on my sons needs, behavior or progress. I can inform them of any situation at home if necessary. I could say not all the teacher return the message, but I am sure they read them at some point. The one that counts will always stay in touch with yo
Super simple app. I have two kids in the same school, primary. User friendly.
I love it because it is so organized and it lets me see what is happening in my children’s school
The notifications never clear! Super annoying!
What can I say it’s the best. 👍🏽 I Love, Love, Love it !!!! 😁
I speak Spanish and English I also read it but I don’t see an option to translate stuff to English when it’s in Spanish. If there can be an option to change language not just from English to Spanish but in general thank you
Currently if you start a room chat you can’t add or take off participates. Instead you have to start a whole new chat. This is tedious. Would be nice if this could function like a phone or what’s app chat so we can make edits easily.
I really like this parent square communication platform. It is reliable, practical and provides real-time information and updates.
Good luck with you guys good
I’m not going to
I really like the app because I was able to monitor my children 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Enjoy having info needed upfront and being able to contact teacher or staff directly. The only thing I don’t care for is I get messages for all 3 Ansonia schools when only need the one school. That’s my only complaint. Other than that it’s a very useful tool.
Thanks you all for your support.

I think and know that I’m not seeing everything that this apparently “is supposed to be helpful and in INFORMATIVE… BS. The things we are worried about are not mentioned ever. That is just not ok. My children, MY CONSENT, leave our kids alone… seriously.
it's easy to use and the content is positive. i don't know. i really do not like anything transmitted over the internet. i do not have time to be a private investigator either . This is America we should be protected by the blood of christ and the USMC- army , navy , seals, marines.. If it is important --i want face to face information. Call me or ask with that said i should stop texting. :)
