9 Positive User Reviews for Philips HearLink 2

Better Not Great

Connection issues have improved for me, but may be an issue for others. There is some phasing between the hearing aids when listening to or playing music. I would like the ability to create my own custom sound settings.

Wearing Time Feature

I am generally pleased with the app except for the flaw concerning the wearing time feature. It will track daily wearing time for a few days, then will stop recording. I have to delete the app and download it again to reactivate the tracking feature. I don’t lose previous data, but it is a pain to have to do this every few days.

Monitoring daily/ hourly use of the hearing aids.

After using this app for about a month. I’m finding it difficult to accurately track my daily usage. The app is not consistent on tracking my usage. There was days when I used the hearing aids for 10-12 hours +, and logged on to the app numerous times and the usage not being monitored. There are days when the app works perfectly.

6 Negative User Reviews for Philips HearLink 2

Energy hog & unstable

Randomly drops hearing aides and rapidly repeats the phone battery. Buttons on hearing aides change programs faster than messaging with the app.

Wearing time not working

Hasn’t worked for a week this time. Deleted and reinstalled app several times no change. Happy with the hearing aid but not the App. Very disappointed.

Very quirky

The app is very quirky and often loses connection with one of my hearing aids. The low battery warning hardly ever works. Often times I am unable to change the sound environment settings. It really needs some work.

Very undependable

When it works, it’s okay. But it connects so inconsistently that I can’t count on being able to use it. For watching videos, I like to use my iPad, which I can sometimes connect to. But then I have to go through the connect process multiple times to reconnect to my iPhone. I’ve been trying to reconnect to my phone for several days. Now I can’t connect to my iPad either. The instructions for connecting to either device are poor. Sure wish there was an alternative!

Keep improving the app

It would be nice if the app saved my settings instead of reverting to the installed values. It would be nice if I could create my own programs much like Phonak allows. It would be nice if the reconnect actually worked without me having to go to Settings and turning Bluetooth off and then on. Thank you for the hardware as it’s made my life better.

Could be so much better

At first, I thought it was my phone so I upgraded after getting my recent set of hearing aids. There is so many things I would change. One having more options on Settings, like having seminar, restaurant ( the current option for speech in noise isn’t adequate), more music, different options for movies, and more than four options. My biggest complaint has been the app will change from each settings as you’re trying to hang up using your Bluetooth. I will be getting a different manufacture
