ProCam 8 - Pro Camera App Reviews

I love this app. Especially the fact that I can run video with the focus locked, but the aperture on auto. I couldn’t find this combination anywhere else. My only criticism is that anytime my iPhone has a pop up, such as “low battery,” it pauses the recording of the video. Is there a fix? Also, I shoot long form videos, and after about two hours of constant shooting, the app seems to shut off the recording. Is there a way to prevent the auto shut off?

Pinch to zoom is such a basic and essential gesture/feature for the iPhone camera, so the absence of it in a photo app is unfortunate. A zoom slider is - meh. Would give this a higher rating when that basic gesture is added.

I’ve had this for several years now and really like the manual features. About a year ago I stumbled upon the light trail feature and that was fun too. The company website has a tutorial section that is nice as well. I like learning new stuff. I just got the new iPhone 14 pro max and hope they upgrade so I can get the RAW 48 mp. Great app yes I would recommend

Can’t find selfie button.

I can’t believe I just spent 30 minutes looking for the front facing camera button and still never found it. swear there used to be one on this app but if there still is, they’ve made the UI so unintuitive that I’ll never find it. Uninstalling.

I am far from a professional photographer and need some help with using this app to its fullest. One thing that would help would be a full fledged manual. There is none. I found a short blog on the website that covers some stuff. But the developer say more information can be found on Instagram. I have no desire to join Instagram. Especially just to get some tutorials. Please post a downloadable manual on your website.

For second time, I change to video mode and my iphone 14 pro, shutdown-close instant. Turn off.

Love it so far still got a lot of messing around to do but I do love the app I like the full control I have over the settings etc

Just got it but sweet so far

This app was amazing, but recently it’s been crashing often without saving my video files, so I’ve lost several long clips. The timelapse function stopped working a few months ago, it will appear to be recording but never finishes processing the clips. This was very disappointing but I continued to use the regular video mode. Now in the last week, my videos have been crashing as well and I've lost more footage.

I just love this camera. Takes the best pictures and the features are great.

A full featured camera app since the beginning

I’m sad they took out the tilt and shift mode…. Can be fun to use. Otherwise this is amazing!! Yep enthusiastic thumbs up!

I find having the date on my photos to be an excellent benefit

I’m not seeing the M (manual) on the left side of the main screen, nor do I see anywhere where I am able to zoom in picture mode. And I’m not shooting it in raw.

No se puede activar el flash de la cámara en ipad pro 2018… es una gran app pero ese pequeño detalle me arruino las fotos que no pude tomar en mi viaje…

Bit of a learning curve to unlock the features, but referring to online guides will help you unlock the power of full manual mode, raw file format, exposure brackets and more. Well worth the price if you’re a serious photographer.

Please trade places with the “set” and camera flip buttons. Its horribly inconvenient and a completely inappropriate location for the buttons

This is very nice & smart camera app. This is full of available camera functions.

Would prefer additional time options over 30sec for long exposure setting

Why remove video time and location stamps?

I set up the format as raw, but all photos are saved in the tiff format recently. What is wrong? I'm using XS Max

Absolutely the best camera app for the iPhone. The features are many and this app is everything one needs for picture taking.

Great app for taking photos. Gives you those extra camera options you want that the stock camera app doesn’t offer.

the app crashes when I tap to focus more than two times, it happens every time so please fix it

Would love an option to have TimeLapse output to still images vs compiling a video each time.

Needs video how to tutorial as there are so many hidden features

Idk why it doesn’t rotate the screen upside down when a photo is taken with the iPhone upside down. It’s so inconvenient to rotate each photo upside down by editing it.

This is the best photo taking app, I have experienced, to date. Being a former Apple Genius, I have been fortunate enough to have had a wealth of app’s provided complementary for testing or sample.

This is the only photo app I use unless I’m doing live green screen work. Hey Pro Cam guys, did you hear that?

It appears to be working but when you’re about take that picture, the app crashes. But when you uninstall it and reinstall it again it works fine.

It’s not intuitive... so I need help. 😆
