12 Positive User Reviews for Publix Pharmacy
History gone
It’s been awhile since I used the Publix Pharmacy app. I logged in today only to find the app isn’t showing any of my active prescriptions. There’s one in particular I was looking to refill, but I don’t have any way to reference the previous RX number.
Requiring iOS 16.
Seems like another step towards device obsolescence. 😕

Publix 1551 Pharmacy
Great staff! They are always helpful and pleasant.
Don’t understand the bad reviews
I have a local Publix that I shop at exclusively, and using this app it makes it incredibly easy for me to get my medication conveniently and on-time. I’ve never had issues with this app and can personally say it is a lot better than other pharmacies I have used.
Date issue on receipts
The app prescription receipts are missing the year so insurance won’t accept. Have to take a picture or scan the hardcopy receipt that comes with the prescription and upload it. Hassle.
6 Negative User Reviews for Publix Pharmacy
The app USED to be great
The latest update changes are terrible. They haven’t improved anything. Updates are supposed to enhance the app, this one makes it less user friendly, and can’t look at the history of a prescription if it’s in process. It doesn’t say the date the refill was requested.
I don’t understand this app
I see a list of prescriptions and I get a text saying “we’re about to refill your prescriptions “, but which ones? The app sure doesn’t tell you.
No acssess
App keeps crashing when trying to open it
No improvement
New update is confusing. I like the Publix pharmacy but the app is bad. I couldn’t do my refills on iPhone 14 Pro Max, had to use the PC.
Family
I can’t add my family if they are over 13. If I want to add my husband and myself onto the same app, it’s impossible! There should be a family section on the app so I can have all of our prescriptions on one but no, there is sure a section for my pet. 😑
App freezes frequently
Every time I turn around I have to turn my phone off and back on to get the app out of a white screen. (Not my phone. Doesn’t happen with other apps. No, switching to airplane mode doesn’t do it either). About once a month, I have to delete the app from my phone and download it again. I’m on Medicare. My drug coverage is picky. Publix is one of the few local pharmacies they will allow me to use that my doctor likes to work with. ROYAL PAIN!!!!!! 😤😤😤
