Remote KeyPad and NumPad Pro App Reviews

I work on a MacBook, which doesn’t have a keypad. NumPad has been a lifesaver when entering data into an Excel spreadsheet. You can also create shortcuts, for example, I created one for taking a screenshot. I always forget the three key combination to do that and now all I have to do is press one key. This app is easy to use and performs flawlessly.

Had little trouble getting it to find my computer but the website was helpful. App works fine now.

This app is very useful. It works well and does exactly what it was designed to do.

This is a very cool solution for something like LilyPond: you can save a lot of time typing the note lengths, as well as any other code, that is required to be typed repetitively. No lagging, great customization. Highly recommend it!

I have a singular yet very important use for NumPad. In music production I often need access to the numeric keypad for very specific tasks that if I had to mouse into menus would dramatically slow me down. Opening this app on my phone and selecting my MBP immediately puts those commands back at my fingertips. I’ve never had an issue with this app and have no need or interest in looking for alternatives. Thank you NumPad!!!

This app is wonderful! What a talented developer!

The app started begging for a review on the first day I downloaded it. How am I supposed to review it when I’ve only used it for a few minutes? That being said, the app works good. Install process was easy. Lots of customization options. I hope the review pop ups will stop now that I’ve left this review.

This app has saved me money from buying a physical device for shortcut mapping. The best part is that it’s free without any ads! I use it with IntelliJ IDE and it saves me a lot of time.

Love the simplicity of this app. A must for those missing a numpad on their keyboards.

I work with different applications that require different numlock keys, and this has been excellent. I do not have to carry around another piece of equipment, because I always have my phone. It was easy to set up and works very well with my Mac. I’ve also enjoyed creating my personal screens. One downside, I have not had much success in using it with public Wi-Fi’s, it does not find my Mac to connect, but will work well with my hotspot.

Haven’t explored any of the extras yet. I need to type in time codes on my laptop and this is perfect. I have a feature request: give me a “00” button. My NLE doesn’t recognize the “.” As a double 0. Maybe that’s an extra? Good App.

Been so simple to use it amazing that this applications has been so useful for me. Entering data was extremely simplify with this application. I am definitely enchanted with this apps, and I definitely will continue using and supporting this extraordinary tools.

I’d already given the app five stars just because it works so well as a remote keypad. Then I discovered that I could create a custom keypad for entering numbers with decimals (.25, .5, .75) and up/down/left/right arrows all in a single key pad. I now can tap the [5] then the [.25] to enter 5.25 in a cell. Thank you.

I’ve used this to turn my phone into a numeric keypad for entering data into spreadsheets on my Mac. Works great. I’ve used it for several years.

I got this app as a key pad for my small 13 in lap top. I work with numbers daily so having this easy blue tooth app helps speed up my work quite a bit.

I sort through thousands of photos at a time in Lightroom, rating them by hitting the 2 or 3 keys, along with a handful of others. Holding my hand over the physical keyboard is an ergonomic strain, so this app allows me to push the buttons I need right from my phone while my hands are on a more comfortable and natural position. I’ve designed four big buttons (by merging 4 little squares) so that i can fly through the photos with just my thumbs. I’m sure I’ll be coming up with lots of other uses

I’m using this to control Digital Performer, which has a lot of functions on the keypad. My laptop doesn’t have a keypad, so this allows me to control it (even for a distance) from my iPhone. At the moment, my MacBook is running a video feed to an auditorium projector, and I’m controlling it from the piano at the front of the house. Nice, and reliable so far.

Fantastic app that makes data entry on my laptop a breeze. Thought I was going to have to buy an external keyboard but I came across this great tool.

Didn’t think an app would be able to replicate a numpad so easily. Always didn’t like the idea of having a long keyboard when I don’t use the numpad majority of the time. Now I can use it only when I need it all through my iPhone!

I’ve always hated a keyboard that doesn't have numbers grouped into a keypad. Now it doesn’t matter because this app gives me a keypad any time I need it. Simply fabulous!

I use this app with a smaller keyboard that does not have the number pad. It works excellently, and I have a bit more desk space and saved money by not having to get a new keyboard. I recently had a problem and was contacted by the developer within the hour with the solution. The ability to add custom keys for specific actions is simply fantastic. I’ve tried a few other apps which simply do not work; this one is the one to get.

Iykyk perfect app to use your phone as an anki controller.

While this app can be used for many many things, I have found it to be an exceptional add-on for those that copy music in programs like Finale, Sibelius and others. Since the MacBook Pro does not have a numeric keypad this little add-on gives you a numeric keypad for your laptop making music input really fast between the keypad and the keyboard on the laptop. Check it out, you won’t regret it.

So nice to input spreadsheet and accounting numbers on my macbk air. Old BT numeric keyboard no longer pairs. Now I use this whenever neede. I love it.

I like the Remote num pad keyboard

I use a lot of 3D softwares and virtual production workflows at work and at home and this app is a game changer. My productivity has improved by leaps and bounds. I wish I had known about this app two years ago. Thank you for creating such a great and useful app.

Great when you just need a plain remote without the need to control your whole PC as well. Or, for a personal taste, configure it just how you like, no extra buttons you have no idea how to use properly. Now only if physical remotes were like that (sigh).

This worked great to help me enter numbers on a massive spreadsheet. Much easier than looking around on my laptop keyboard. More accurate as well. Great app!
