$$$ - cost

The developer of this app does not disclose the full price until you complete the online registration. I have no problem with the app developer charging for the service. However, pricing should be disclosed upfront without having to download the app. The app is virtually useless without paying.

Preview image always blurry

I can get a clear photo with my camera, but the thumbnail of the image I get with the app always looks blurry. I don’t want to drop $40 on sending a derm a photo that isn’t clear.

Thank you for quick response and good news!

Thank you!

I scanned a mole. This thing told me 80% concerning. Went to dermatology got a skin check. So I went in for skin check and the doctor wanted it biopsied without me pointing it out. Turns out it’s melanoma

Can’t upload from photo library

I have great pictures of the mole on my middle back in my photo library, but every one I try to take in the app is blurry. It is so hard to get a good angle and lighting through the app, but using my watch, I can capture a pretty good picture. We need a way to upload from photo library. I’m not going to pay $35 to have someone look at the blurry, dark picture I capture in the app. I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to get a good one with no success.

Add an upload feature, or fix autofocus.

I cannot even use the app because the camera built in has completely broken autofocus. Everything close up is just blurred. You could add an upload feature or fix the autofocus by setting captureDevice.focusMode = .autoFocus and captureDevice.focusPointOfInterest in swift, or the closest alternative for this apps language.

$35 minimum

There is no initial assessment or free trial. Any analysis costs $35 to send to a doctor. That’s for each mole.
