TapeACall Pro: Call Recorder App Reviews

I would give this a 5-star. But exporting recordings is extremely difficult. I have hundreds of recordings and I can not do a bulk export. This is a feature many users have complained about, and not sure why this hasn’t been done yet.

I bought the pro app minutes before an incoming conference call. The quality of the voice recording was exceptionally good, and it was good even though I was sharing my iPhone on speaker with another participant in the call. However, the initial merge of TapeACall into the call took several seconds during which I missed some of the conversation. The transcription did not clearly separate the speakers, but from this experience, I realize that I should identify myself as soon as I start speaking

While I love this App, I’m giving it 4 Stars because it’s missing the automatic Merge Button function that the non-Pro TapeACall App offers! TapeACall Developers- why wouldn’t you offer this function in the Pro version of the App? We’re paying more in the Pro version for ease-of-use.

I highly recommend this app. Very simple but extremely effective.

This app allows me to record my calls quickly with very few screen taps. Best record a call app I have used. This is the app you want. Don’t waste time trying the other app.

They sold me a lifetime subscription and I jumped to conclusions and gave them a bad review after they had an update. They fixed it and honored the deal. They’re great and very responsive. I had this app for 13~ years.

I’ve had many calls where I try to merge the TapeACall to my current call and it just never connects. Many important calls were not able to be recorded.

I love the app the only problem was a bad one. A fee times my access number started to fail and I didn’t have the app when I needed it. However the number I’m using now has been working for a few months and I’m hoping it will stay functional because when it works its an awesome app to have.

Sometimes there’s a problem when you add someone to the conversation and the recording is already happening. First of all getting your recorded conversations out of the program is no fun. They should make that way easier.

Paid for it long ago, now they can’t fetch my pro version since some new update. Will be looking for another version because even if I wanted to pay again, they don’t let me. The app is stuck with a button that doesn’t work “reactivate”. It does nothing. Used to be a great app. Testing and development seems to be underfunded, can’t see why else it wouldn’t work for me, im using an iPhone pro max 13 with current OS

Fantastic app. This is an app that needs to be on every phone. I can’t tell you the amount of problems this app has solved very quickly. It’s ability to export your phone conversations into easily listen to MP3s is fantastic anytime you have a conflict with a customer service rep it’s hard to dispute recorded audio. Make sure that you are within your states recording guidelines!

I purchased this app and requested a refund for it within 30 minutes. What is not disclosed when using is that your actual cell phone number shows up as a different number! I need my actual number to show so they know it’s me calling! I requested a refund.

This is a great app. It does one thing, and does it well. I’ve been using it to save conversations with my aging Mom so I can listen to them after she’s gone. However, IOS 16 breaks it a bit - when the phone goes to sleep, it now hangs up.

I’ve had this app on my phones and their generations since 2014 and I love the reliability of it. I’ve never been let down or lose any recordings!!!

Don’t have the problems of others. Bought back before subscription model and still works as before. I wanted to add transcription though and I cannot find that option anymore.

Easy to use. Transcriptions are terrible. Easy to hear sentences are returned as jibberish.

This app was a great purchase when I bought it for $10 and now it requires a subscription at $8 A WEEK. Such a rip off

’ve been using this software for 10 years with no problems. Recently, I keep getting asked to verify my phone number, but the six-digit code doesn’t fit in the five available boxes. This bug has forced me to subscribe to their other service at $14.99, while my original subscription is only $5.99. Why is the pro version cheaper? I don’t know, but I shouldn’t have to pay for two subscriptions. Please fix this issue quickly.
