My only nitpick issue is that many of the stories are too long. Their length precludes me from reading as many stories as I would like. I realize that this may not be a concern to many.
The content has steadily declined over the years. Coverage of local teams has gone down a ton so I question the value of remaining a member all the time.
Great beat writers for the teams I follow.
I love that I can keep up with the teams I root for even though I don’t live in the city they play in. But, I don’t get the general articles I would like to see such as articles on the NFL playoffs. Judging by my feed, the 49ers and Eagles, and Bengals and Chiefs never played. Admittedly I don’t root for any of those teams but I’d still like to read a summary of the games. On the other hand Keith Law and Ken Rosenthal are great!
After reading a lengthy article, the app goes right back to the top, thereby losing my place on what to read next. Please fix this
It’s infuriating that the leagues at the top of the score page can’t be customized/match the leagues you follow by choice. With all due respect to the EFL League Two I should be able to remove it from the score page as I have no interest in it.
By far my favorite sports app. Great articles/content by very good writers.
It’s a shame really. Some of the best sports journalism out there but it’s staccotoed every page by “seamless” ads. I contacted their customer service department and offered to pay extra for an ads-free subscription. Unfortunately, they don’t currently offer it. Maybe one day they will.
This app is top-notch and very professional. It is incredibly user-friendly and easy to change font size and pick which teams you want to follow. The writers I follow are excellent as well. My only disappointment is they no longer employee a full-time Baltimore Oriole beat writer. I’m hoping that changes soon.
You can’t beat the quality and depth of reporting, analysis and writing. But…the appearance and organization of the app are awful. The app is crowded and doesn’t seem to be organized in any logical way. The worst though is the glitchiness of the app. Every time I read a second article and then hit “My Feed”, the app kicks me out and back to my home screen. This doesn’t happen on other subscriptions
I love the app itself but the content is too limited. There’s post game stats, but no post game recaps and very limited team news. I follow the Yankees and this app publishes about an article a week. The same is true of the NY Giants. That means I have to go to a 2nd source for team news making the Athletic irrelevant.
