Awesome

Exactly what I wanted in pristine condition!

Very easy to use. Sometimes. There are specials so keep looking :-)

Payment section needs work

The payment section needs some tweaking

Great Shopping

Best brands, and unbeatable prices. Never been disappointed.

Love this Place

I shop here all the time. I’m sure my husband would not give the same review. Lol but I love the clothes and there’s so many categories and options to choose from in the prices are so good compared to other places.

My Favorite Resale and Consignment App

10 out of 10 I love the variety of unique items!!

Amazing Consignment Shop But…

They should really have free shipping and free returns, even if they have to up the prices a bit. Any time I buy something that doesn’t work out, I’m out $30, so I don’t buy a lot of “maybe” items that I could love. Also the “REAL” 20% discount barely works on anything.

Updated review - Ads removed

Thank you for removing the ads from your platform. It seriously makes a difference and no longer distracts me while browsing.

Mixed feelings

They offer great clothes, but the descriptions are not detailed enough. They don’t show pictures of the clothing labels or provide sufficient details in general. Additionally, the shipping is very expensive, and customers must also pay for return shipping. There is no free shipping or returns, meaning if you buy something and decide to return it, you end up spending around 30 dollars on shipping for both directions.

Great app and store

Great app and store to find quality authentic luxury goods!

Loyal Customer since 2018

Love these guys and trust their quality over competitors. One quibble, however: their watch ratings appear to have lowered their standards. I’m now seeing watches with CLEARLY visible deep scratches on case, tarnishing, even chipped glass, being rated as “Very Good” or higher. So, RR, if you read this, please revise your standards to the prior ones. Our trust in you is on the line. Overall, even with some slip ups, it’s still where I go to for high end stuff because of the sheer volume and varie

Amazing Deals

I tried TRR for the first time this month and I’m honestly so impressed by the prices and quality. I got a gorgeous silk tank top and silk work blouse from a $$$ designer for only $80 total. I figured the quality would be mediocre but they’re both in excellent condition. I wish shipping was cheaper ha, but otherwise a wonderful app.

4 Negative User Reviews for The RealReal

Negative experience more than once

They sent me the wrong sizes. To return the product, I would have to pay for shipping. There were two products with the wrong sizes. One of the products did not have a brand label and did not look like a brand product to me. Extremely dissatisfied with my last purchase. Selling on consignment is not worth it.

UPS Ground Saver??

$15 for shipping and they use UPS Ground Saver (no signature required) on an $800 item. Now I have to pray I’m in town for it’s arrival or pay another $15 for UPS to hold it. Fashionphile uses UPS ground with signature required, and it’s free. One and done with this site.

Take take take rate

The fees and take rate are ridiculous. (Sell your items somewhere else). The shipping fee is $$$. Yet they’ve added advertisements to the platform. But my favorite update just happened: I’m so grateful that they moved sections so it takes me longer to find my saved lists. Now I don’t waste time scrolling and buying things I don’t need. This change is going to save me a bunch of money and will eventually make me forget to open the app. 👍🏼👍🏼

“Add to waitlist” text overlay misrepresents availability & cheapen the user experience

Overall this app is ok, but I constantly wonder how much user testing they do if any, with the new features. For example, the latest update shows text over an image that says “add to waitlist.” This text makes me think that that item is out of stock, however, in clicking on the item it’s clear that the item is available for sale. This text overlay makes it very difficult to see what the garment actually looks like, not to mention it’s just messy to the eye - it makes me not want to browse anymor
