Treble Cat - Read Music App Reviews

I'm an adult learner, coming from bass clef. This app does a great job of building slowly, with a lot of repetition in various ways to reinforce learning. I love that I can pick it up and do a few minutes here and there when I have time to kill. I had been struggling with treble clef until I found this app -- I have made a huge amount of progress in just a few days!

Started using this app to learn to read music notation, it was really helpful. Challenged me to learn to read faster than I was and made it fun at the same time.

I just bought two of these the treble and the bass then realized they are only for i-pad witch i don't use.I didn't notice that they were not compadable with i-phone. I just assumed they would be because the lite version was. I'm very fruserated and am needing to know if the company might be kind enough to please refund me???

My piano teacher introduced me to this app and it’s quite fun and addicting. It slowly eases you into memorizing every note for treble clef but it’s like a game so it’s fun to beat levels and keep progressing. I recommend trying to verbally say every note as they stream across, even if they aren’t the target notes.

I found my old flute and wanted to relearn how to read music. I finished all 80 levels in 2 days because it is really fun and I learned a lot. I played on my iPhone and had no issues using this app.

I’m an older music student. I just finished all of level 3 and I am going to complete them all. This is helping me very much. I like the cool music and beats. Relaxing!

I’m crazy about the “cat” apps! I’m a flutist and instructor and I recommend this app to my beginning students to help reinforce their reading skills. But, why is there no Alto Cat? My daughter is a young violist and there is serious lack of quality apps for learning to read alto clef.

As an adult learner who has always wanted to learn to read music but has found it difficult, this app has made learning notes fun! I’m thankful to say that this app has been the very best learning tool for me.

A great learning tool for free - without annoying ads. What better can you expect?

Memorizing the position of notes on the clef is fine, as far as it goes — but why not reinforce that by sounding the note for each correct choice? Not all learning is visual, and Treble Cat’s failure to associate written notes with their sounds is a disappointing failure.
