Life Changer

Great app and organization! Inspired me to greatly reduce my alcohol intake. Life is so much better.

Awesome app!

Really liked it. First tried ‘Dry Jan’ in 2023 (success) and kept at the daily monitoring for most of 2023 (not dry…but monitoring). Used it full time again for Jan 2024 (success) and am still using it daily for monitoring. No doubt sleeping better, etc. This year, for some reason, I did not get the daily ‘rah rah’ emails in Jan which I actually liked, but that’s probably a settings and not app issue.

What a great app for promoting health living

This app is fabulous it keeps me accountable to be sure I’m keeping my alcohol intake at a healthy level with very little effort. I really appreciate this service!

Support and validation

I have done Dry January for the past three years. I downloaded the Dry January app and found that it supported my efforts to take a break from alcohol and to hold myself accountable. Last year I used Dry January for Dry September as well, and this year I am well into February with just a handful of days with social events when I have enjoyed a drink. I like seeing the yellow screen and falling congratulatory confetti at the end of day without alcohol. If I don’t use the app regularly it is too e

A key to my success and a happier, healthier life!

This tool has been indispensable to me. I have tracked every day since January 1, 2023. When I started to drink more often than I had decided to around August, it was plain to see and impossible to ignore. It wasn’t horrible, an extra 2 drinks a week, but it wasn’t what I want. And there it was for me to see, reflect on, and act upon. Back on track after another dry January and drinking even less than last year. From an every day many drinks person to a twice a week 2 small drinks person, I am a

Try Dry 5-word Review

Fun. Not judgey, preachy, etc.

Great tracker and accountability partner

I have been working on reducing my alcohol consumption and this app is easy to use and reminds me every night. I like that I can see how many units I have had in any increment of time. The one thing that could be better is using oz for the US but I understand it is for UK. I get it close and that works for me. I have continued to use it for over 7 months now and have seen a decrease in my consumption. Thanks!

Great App

This is a great app, really helps you stay on target, whatever your personal goals are. I also found the articles they provide in the app motivating and insightful.

Hugely helpful

Love to see those tea cups with umbrellas crowding my calendar with their bright cheery yellow. Far from the “blow it once and start from scratch”, Try Dry lets me watch my improvement over time. Highly recommend.

Great app and a big help!

I am very grateful that this app was made and available for my Dry January attempt. I am happy to say that I was successful and this app was a great benefit and contribution to that effort. The (optional) emails that I received during January were extremely helpful and the blogs were great as well. Just an all-around great experience through this app. Being able to see my journey, the units and money saved, and the ability to journal was actually very helpful. So I am continuing to use the a

Great app!

I just passed 650 dry days. Love using this app to track — and to celebrate my successes!

Well Done

Really helped me with Dry-uary. Easy to use, and motivating.

Excellent accountability tool!

I’ve been using the app for two or three years since my first dry January. It helps me keep consumption lower and keeps me honest. The stories and added tools like the test are all so well thought out and developed. Thanks!!

great app

very useful with lots of helpful resources, tips, and encouragement

Great for Statistics Obsessed

The easy tracking in units is helping me be realistic about my drinking. The statistics show patterns, and incentivizes me to moderate to achieve my numeric goals.

Really helpful!

Using the app to reduce how much I drink. It’s been essential to my journey and has illuminated a lot. The only thing I would beg as a change is having the option for the week to start on Sunday instead of Monday. Other than that, which is arguably a small “complaint,” I love it. It’s inclusive of people at any point in their journey/relationship with alcohol, from being/going sober to maintaining/reducing consumption to just tracking for trackings sake. It’s wonderful <3

Not showing completed goals!

I really like this app, except for one thing. I’ve successfully completed 2 goals I’ve set, but the app isn’t registering/showing when I’ve completed a goal. This is really annoying and I don’t know how to contact customer service. Please help!

Great app , best I’ve found so far!

I stumbled across this app, omg , I’m positive for sure I would not be able to do dry Jan without it. I wake up everyday ready to read the wonderful blogs and information about alcohol. Knowledge is power to me. This has really made me open my eyes to what is happening to my body when I consume too much alcohol. The tracking is a great tool, and the journaling helps me be honest with myself. I’m sure this will change my life and the way I view alcohol .I will use this all year to keep track of m

Great app has helped me learn about myself

I’ve been concerned my drinking was more than I wanted. I saw this app recommended in an article so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve got a 28 day streak going and plan to get to the 30 day mark. I’ve learned a lot. My drinking seemed to be more habit driven- go out to dinner, 2 glasses of wine. Friday at home, let’s have wine. I was drinking nearly every day. I’m down about 7lbs now, wake with a clear mind, my skin looks better and I feel like I’m back in control. My question- can I still count

New app is much appreciated

Now I can track my mood &Leave notes about the effects of alcohol on my system. Thanks so much for those additions. Very helpful.

Alcohol Relationship Changer

Dry January is an annual event these days but this year I wanted to do something different. I wanted to reduce my alcohol intake for life not just a month. I really appreciate the quizzes, articles & tracking calendar. I am so far meeting me goal of reducing my alcohol consumption & it feels great! I have 2 wishes 1) being able to create my own drink category, for example Hard Seltzer & 2) adding a display of units consumed, not just units saved to the Dashboard. Thank you for the thought & cr

A for effort but still lacking

I’ve been using this app for a while but only recently have I started using the goals function. I have had to add my goal 4 times. It saves for a day or two and then it’s gone and I have to enter again. I’ll be deleting this app and tracking on my own as I’m not sure it provides much value for me if the functions don’t work. It might work for others but not entirely for me.

Love the app but it doesn’t calculate the units accurately

I really enjoy this app. It has helped me to set some goals to cut back. I love seeing my tea cups every day. However it doesn’t accurately track units based on the formula. Compared to drink coach. Also, would love to see some US based units.

Good idea, but very glitchy

Super glitchy. The $ and calorie tracker stopped updating
