I really like the user friendly interface. The live tv option is easily reachable and you can see it on top of the home page which is a brilliant idea. Great job!

If you shall ever “scroll” over an ad, WRAL makes it a point to automatically open it. I have to click news articles several times, ads though, even look at them and BAM there’re open!

I like having the WRAL app on my phone because it allows me to keep track of weather in another place other than mine, however: I'm unable to watch their content when they're live which I don't like. I want to watch it; but I can't. I gave it a 5-star rating; but I need to be able to watch their live content when they're live.

Though WRAL is very similar to all the other worthless mainstream media with horribly biased stories, they are always the first report breaking news across the country and across the world.

The weather tab no longer allows you to scroll/toggle between preselected cities to see the weather, whenyiu toggle you see the temperature changes but the name of the location NO LONGER changes. The weather app is broken and has been for several months. So disappointed that it is joy working on apple devices.

The best news outlet ANYWHERE! I actually live in the Greensboro news market, but while I worked in Raleigh, I began to watch WRAL. I found it to be the most comprehensive, interesting, and genuine way of reporting the news. I have shared with friends all across North Carolina to download the WRAL App on their phone. And they all agree with me that it is the best!

WRAL lives in the WOKE bubble like most “news” media. But in its favor, WRAL doesn’t search to find an endless parade of victims. On the other hand, there’s little evidence WRAL has any clue what makes a nation and a society great, or the founding values that have made the USA the place envied by a great many of the world population.

Once up on a Time- a Stranger to then - A FOREIGN Stanger who only the support of something called “ a Green Card”. He found a local TV Station called “ WRAL-NEWS” That was one of the most popular interesting and helpful in so many ways to the extent the Stanger , from a mostly u known to most Americans, called Wales or Cymru where he enjoyed what is apparently described as THE best Radio & TV broadcast Station/Provider in the world but found local TV Station that made him feel “ RIGHT AT HOME”

Links (outside of WRAL) that open a new tab in the desktop site open a new, blank white page from within the app.

For some reason, you have to leave the phone open and cannot just listen to the audio.

I have only watched Ch. 5 since I was a tiny girl. I am 58 and still watching.

I’ve tuned to WRAL my entire life for local and state news. Best local news over the air or on cable tv.

I like WRAL news when I had a house in Raleigh I looked at WRAL all the time the weather is good I remember when the WRAL weather center came in 1981 and I t was so cool to see it keep up the good work that you all do jack Ashby

This is a great app but can’t get push notifications except when I open the app. I have push notifications turned on but still won’t get them. Even deleted and reinstalled the app

All of a sudden getting duplicate push alerts. It’s annoying. Please fix.

I enjoy the variety of news and personal interest stories you have. More proof reading and corrections do need to done. I know it is a free app but more frequent new stories would be appreciated.

I have been watching WRAL NEWS since the day they started broadcasting! As other stations came to the Raleigh-Durham area, I would take a look and return to WRAL. I really appreciate the up to date news, sports, and weather! Keep up the good work, Guys!!!

I downloaded the app so I could get the latest in breaking news. Unfortunately it appears that breaking news is every story written generates an alert. Every change in story as well. You are so inundated with alerts, alerts have lost their purpose. I’ve stopped looking and now I’m deleting the app. I’ll have to look elsewhere for my local news. Not sure where that is.

Seems like every political story on WRAL slams Republicans and favors Democrats…so obvious! I only watch it to see my local weather.

The notifications are always about crime, deaths, murder, and illegal actions. It would be nice to see some positive news and local business announcements on pushed notifications. Whoever operates, the app should consider expanding content messaging.

I can’t open the app while listening to music on the phone without it taking over and stopping the music.

Still not receiving push notifications since the last update. While I’m here, it’d be great if WRAL could not put ads on your “watch now” or “live update” videos so people don’t miss out on crucial information while being forced into sitting through a 30 second ad.
