AirPlayer - video player and network streaming app-apprecensioner

I've used this app every night for years for watching .avi and .mkv videos from my NAS with dlna and it works great! I get a movie rolling in seconds with this app. And i love that this app is for viewing media, nothing else! The only bug i've noticed is that it rarely, but sometimes, kills the wifi. It's easily fixed by rejoining the network.

I recommend this app, it gets the job done streaming mkv files from my NAS to my iPad.

Using it to watch movies in bed. Never any problems except for .mkv (720p) on my iPad2.

Kommer åt min Synology NAS direkt vilket är riktigt bra. Däremot blir det inte så bra till AppleTV vilket jag hoppas kan förbättras!

Very pleased with the app. It works great with my Synology NAS and plays most things I throw at it, incl some 720p stuff.

I'm using this app on my iPad mainly in conjuncture with the Playstation Media Server and it can handle just about any format, including 720p videos! It also connects easily to just about any other compatible media device and computer on my network :) I've only had one or two experiences where a file wouldn't load, but even then I'd say that stability is at 90%. Great value.

With the new version and its download capabilities its even better than before.

Does what it is supposed to do. No fuzz installation - just works.
