Best sudoku app, cracking the cryptic rules

Gone through about 20 sudokus now and they’ve all been fairly interesting. Hand crafted with nice little hints that helps you along. Having viewed the YouTube channels helps a lot to be able to solve these.

When I use it on my iPhone 8 it causes extreme eye strain, compared to similar sudoku apps I have used. Probably caused by the theme colors (will try to find a better theme) and too low contrast of the small numbers. Also need to use screen real estate to the max for smaller displays. I could use it on an iPad but I really want to be able to have it easily available at any time. Otherwise I really like it, will give it 5 stars if it becomes more ergonomic.

This is one of my favourite sudoku apps! The puzzles are on the trickier side but they’re so rewarding to solve! Since they’re hand crafted they seem very logical when you have spent some time with them, to learn how to go about them! I’m at puzzle 15 or so and am so happy to write this review, the money spent was well worth it! Checking out their YouTube channel has also helped me to improve my sudoku solving skills! Thanks guys!!

Amazing interface! And it’s fun that the puzzles are created by humans, with real logical solutions. However, what stops it from getting an entire 5 stars, is the lack of ”teaching”. It gives you hints, which can be used to solve puzzles, but it does not help you understand WHY those hints were there in the first place. I’d LOVE a few more tutorially puzzles, where you can learn the concepts, instead of just ”7/8 pair in r5c8c9”.

I’m obsessed with sudoku, and loved this app for its many different puzzles and tools. I just wished the number buttons were a bit larger, as i often missclick.
